Marlon Samuels isn't good enough as a second spinner and we saw both spinners get milked in the third session. WI bowlers started well, bowled with control and restricted the SL RR but never looked like devastating this SL batting lineup. Credit to Karunaratne, thought he looked good against Pakistan too.

I'm perfectly happy with Kaushal in the team. The only thing he needs to sort out immediately for me, is the no balls. Umpires don't even call no balls these days and still he bowls at least one or two per spell.

He has no control whatsoever. Needs more time.

The problem is that his control hasn't improved even in the domestics, however, he has continued to grab wickets like grapes every time he plays. He has one or two odd games but then comes right back. He has a video game like stats. Besides SL doesn't have any other wicket taking spinner. There is Jeffrey Vandersay but he is a leggie and he has some control issues as well. No way in hell SL is going with Senanayake or Seekuge Prasanna. Dilruwan is too boring and bowls just orthodox spin. Kaushal is the only realistic option.
