Well Pakistan does have a poorly selected team for the next game but wonder why no one is talking about the Australian team composition. Looks like they've assembled a pool of hacks and started picking batsmen from there.

Why do they need so many power hitters. - Travis Head, Chris Lynn, Glen Maxwell, Mitchel Marsh?

They're top/middle order looks brittle without Usman Khwaja/George Bailey type all round batsmen and I feel they're relying too much on Warner and Smith for stability.

Also where is Adam Zampa?

I feel Aussies can construct a better team with more solid and all round players.

Travis Head as lead spinner with young Adam Zampa warming the bench.

also when was the last time Aus had a proper spinner in ODIs anyway?

not since Hogg. its all been batting all rounder who can tweak the ball a bit

Zampa was their second highest wicket taker in 2016.

My bad. Zampa was the highest wicket taker across all teams in 2016.

Because the world cup is in two years and we're trying a whole different bunch of players out to see who should be in the squad for 2019.

I know its only me rambling on this thread but Zampa has to be invested in and played more games. A very bright young prospect.

He bowled superbly, not sure why he wasn't picked in the earlier matches. The batsmen found him tough to get away for the most part.
