Latest article on the conflict in Ukraine by the BBC.

"This is where the craziness of the Russian command is most evident," Mr Zelensky said in his nightly address from Kyiv. "Day after day, for months, they are driving people to their deaths there, concentrating the highest level of artillery strikes."
Well this is correct, they are using a lot of artillery and that's because it's a well fortified position.
"Analysts say the city has little military value in itself, though if it were to fall, it would bring other cities back within range of Russian artillery and help change the narrative of a conflict in which Moscow's forces have been gradually retreating."
Look at the contradiction in this statement. It has little military value they say but then follow it up by immediately saying that it would bring other cities within artillery range. This is the garbage they keep feeding the public.
It is very clear why this is an important town to take. I spent 15 seconds and maybe if the BBC did as well they would understand it's much more simple to take Kramatorks and Slovianks from the south than east or north. After Bakhmut there is around 15-20 miles of open terrain so break Bakhmut and then it becomes far easier. I'm not a military expert but even I can see this froma quick scan of maps. Again more lies from MSM to spin the narrative that Russia are clueless and don't know what they are doing.
"But officials in Kyiv have warned that Russian forces are digging in around the city, while intercepted radio reports suggest that newly "mobilised" Russian recruits have been sent there to shore up defences."
But Kyiv and western MSM told us that Ukraine would be able to take Kherson and then later even move towards Crimea. Surely some defences from an "incompenent" and "poorly equipped" Russian army in Kherson will be easy for this "amazing" and "well equipped" Ukrainian army?
I also recall the MSM telling us a week ago, Russia were evacuating civilians from Kherson because they were planning to retreat. So which is it BBC and Ukraine? Are the Russians retreating or are they battening down the hatches?
