Why can't Roman be the one to retire Cena? Atleast we'll get a solid final match for cena.

I think Cena's final match should be against a veteran. Someone like Randy Orton.

I know Randy and Cena already had a feud a few months ago but why not do it again?

Randy and Cena started from Ruthless Aggression era. It would be a fitting end if Cena has his final match against Randy. They have good chemistry and they have had many iconic matches.

Cena can maybe finish with a win.

Not Randy.
Kevin Owens would be a good choice if medically clear.

Even though it wouldn’t make sense story wise- but since nothing makes sense in today’s wwe circus anyway, would love to have Cena hold this WHC title at least once before hanging it up- still infinitely better than clowngan paul forcing his dumb ass into another story.

Cody Rhodes is a dull champion and its once again been proven that the fans mostly don't know what they want. Vinnie Mac used to give them what he thought was best for them and it worked like a charm. They deprived us from a much anticipated Roman Reigns vs The Rock showdown at Wrestlemania back when both were at their respective prime. They had to change it for the Cody crybabies and had to turn the WM finale into a clown show by adding all the surprise appearances to make it bearable.

Wrestling fans are fickle though, they were begging for Cody to be champ and now they’re upset.

I personally don’t think he’s a terrible champion, he just needs more engaging feuds & not sleep with the title like its his baby, H’s wrestling ideas and views are completely dated.

And Vince was right on making Cody the guy, if it was up to H he would have shoved his darling son Seth Rollins down our throats much sooner.

Even now, the ceiling with Cody is very high & he will be a great heel to when that turn eventually happens.

Triple H has been getting buried so badly on social media it’s just beautiful, I’ve been waiting for decades for this, these guys are calling his booking the ruthless depression era :yk

Haha, I saw. Reign of boredom is also good

I’ve been happy with Cena’s tour compared to most, but H saved the worst right for the end, a tournament to decide who gets to face him, I don’t think Chat GPT could have been dumb enough to come up with this….

I am not finished watching a video on H but when I do I will share it with you, it will boil your blood but besides his politicking his dated ideas from way back are so eerily evident now that you can tie the two strings 20 years apart, Bret is right about him in every single way, he doesn’t have a single creative bone in his body.

I'll be honest, I've come to a point where I just find it very difficult to watch these WWE shows in their entirety. Most of the time I'm fast-forwarding to get to the good stuff and I hate doing that, because that's not how I like to watch shows, and also because there is very little good stuff.

On top of that, everything takes forever. The entrances, the ads for WWE Shop, the video packages. It's like these guys think people have nothing better to do with their lives. And thing is, if the show was any good, you would sit through all this stuff. But they are not...and haven't been for a long time.

Even AEW Dynamite has more of a watchability factor just because of the amount crazy, nonsensical s**t that happens on that show.

Bro, this is such a Tony Khan idea.

Had they not hindered my jinder,
We would have had a great heel champion run.

The Singh Brothers sucked however 🤣 They hindered him

It’s like the whole product is a manifestation of fraud’s reign of terror and one lengthy ass promo.

Who the hell said just because you wrestled- and in a mediocre fashion- you can be cut out to run the company that popularized it all?

Vince or tko or whoever need to pull the plug on this dunce asap- he has zero vision. No pun intended :asghar
It’s definitely not a case of poor talent, there’s plenty of resources, but it’s just sitting there rotting

I’ve been fast forwarding like that for many years and pre-H at least looked forward to the big events, but now, I feel short changed there and that spectacle feeling is missing since Vince left; yes, he wasn’t perfect, but he loved to make us so mad & angry to find out what we truly wanted and we got that pay-off.

The best things right now are more to do with the individual & not the booking committee:

- CM Punk with the WHC - They were forced to put the belt on him literally, but he is even more must-see now

- Dragunov on Smackdown, he basically books himself

- Chelsea Green who got herself over and made the US title relevant despite repeated burials

- Charlotte / Alexa - It is well known these two are best friends and decided to team together

- Shawn’s NXT

- John Cena’s farewell

When you keep repeating the same script hoping to bury talent the crowd wants to see go over then it’s less about you wanting what’s best for business and more about you being an egotistical pr1ck who just doesn’t want to be outsmarted by the crowd and admit he is wrong about booking certain stars.

How many more times do we need to see Drew crash out and complain in character before the next L and La knight put someone else over after always being on the brink of world championship gold before seeing someone like Logan Paul prance around.

Well put. WWE honestly have an embarrassment of riches when it comes to talent. It would have to take an empty-headed visionless booker like H to screw up one of the most stacked rosters WWE has ever had. And it's not just the upper card, even the midcard is stacked with so many talented individuals. Who H uses in 10-minute throwaway bathroom break matches on RAW.

Even Punk is going to get sucked into The Vision instead of just having a hot feud with a top heel. And I was actually liking the Vision without Seth. But now they've added Logan Paul

Punk is must-see and he will make everything he is in watchable, but everything else on RAW just makes me roll my eyes TBH.

Okay, tonight's RAW might be worth watching. It's Cena's last appearance in his hometown of Boston. Imagine if his last match was in this arena? They would have blown the roof off the building. They could have done a whole special PLE called Ruthless Aggression or something, but instead we're getting it on an episode of SNME because the company with the Cock streaming platform paid them the most money. It's a bit amazing to see how much of a greedy, money-hungry, soul-sucking corporation WWE has become. Some of the things they are doing these days were unfathomable until a few years back. These days though, everything is up for sale. At this point, I'm just waiting for them to put an ad on Michael Cole's forehead.

Last match will be Logan Paul sucker punching him with brass knuckles wearing a Prime bottle costume to kick off a TLC match with different sponsor names on each table.

Cena will lose this match to put logan over. And then Brock will walk out to F5 Cena into the Boston harbor. Brock will then disappear till 2030.

He should finish his career as the Doctor of Thuganomics

I got to see this episode in the TD Garden Arena and what an experience.
What an electric atmosphere it was. The crowd was sooooo loud for cena it felt like my ear drums would pop any time.
The funniest thing was Triple GPT opening the show and the whole arena going WHAT WHAT WHAT visibly annoying him.
Punk, Cody, AJ, Sheamus, Rusev, Nakamura, all were extremely over with this crowd. Of the females, Alexa, Charlotte, Becky, Rhea obviously, but the whole crowd goes horny every time Vaquer showed up.
I just found out the crowd loves Joe Tessitore a lot as well.
Dom is obviously a heat magnet.

That was the worst part of the show, 4/10 trying to suck the life out of a partisan crowd, he really didn’t need to be there but he desperately wanted to put us into a depression and truly challenged the fans when we were promised a hot show.

Man I teared up at that IC win in a way none of his previous title wins have moved me - maybe it’s just the realisation that this is the end, this just felt right & the landmark is as much for the fans as it is for Cena, he’s the GOAT and what is done for him, pale’s in comparison to what he has given this business.

He was visibly annoyed by the crowd doing What chants when spoke and the crowd loved it. Didn't do it once for Cena or even Dom.

you could see how badly he wanted his final match to be in his hometown but TKO frauds ruined it. This was the only match in his retirement tour that took place on Raw or SD (not counting that dq match/angle with RTruth). And it was a proper proper match not a 2 min squash. Credit to Dom as well, didn't try to get the spotlight on him as opposed to Nose.
On the other hand, Punk definitely doesn't like to be feuding with The Vision or Logan Paul. Balor would have been a much credible opponent for Punk tbh.

Happy for Dominic as well. Kid is living the wrestling dream, arguably the best heel run of the last 2 years in the entire business, works with his dad that he looked up to as a kid, and now wrestling the wrestling GOAT one final time in his hometown to defend championship gold.

Dom has improved at much quicker pace than Breakker IMO. Both started wrestling at around the same time though Dom started from main roster while Breakker stayed in NXT for years. Ever since his heel turn with Judgement Day, he's been getting better and better every week and now he even wrestles like a tenured guy, no botches, no mixups. He's been the anchor of midcard for a whole year now despite not having been given any good feud.

Bron was coming into his own but fraud screwed him over by making him part of this useless faction and making him Seth’s lackey. He was ready to compete for world championship gold after his IC run.

I was never Cena's biggest fan, but he was a big part of my childhood during the second half of the 00s, and that realisation that he is about to retire is making me quite emotional. I am glad that he got to win the IC title, which was the only thing that he had never won.

Sounds awesome bro. It looked like a hot crowd so I can only imagine what it felt like live. This was definitely one of the highlights Cena's retirement run so looks like you got to see a heck of a moment live.

Even his promos as Triple Suit are drawn-out and predictable. It was a lay-up two-pointer - all he had to do was introduce Cena, the crowd was already molten and ready to explode. And somehow he found a way to make that long, boring and predictable too...just like his booking.

Triple Fraud needs to get his screen time. It's pathetic how much this SOB craves attention. I struggle to watch WWE these days because this guy makes everything about himself. I will understand it if he was still an active wrestler, but this guy is long retired and isn't involved in any storylines. He is just a booker (a pretty awful one), yet he is always making on-screen appearances. I can't remember the last time that a booker got so much screen time.

It's all part of his carefully-crafted plan to make himself the public face of the company and synonymous with the product. The whole Netflix show was an attempt to reinforce that. He is trying to be the Dana White of WWE, but the reality is that he is not even the Dixie Carter of WWE.

It was a very nice moment. I just hope we get to see him defend it atleast a couple of times before his last match,

Even in his boring, droning promo, HHH had to take a thinly-veiled dig at the internet fans. "everyone has an opinion".

Yeah, but not everyone cares about other people's opinions as much you do.

I think deep down he desperately wants to be respected and accepted by the smart fans but he knows he will never get that validation.

Bro I cried literally when I found out through a spoiler that he won the IC title, so your post hit me, because that is exactly why. Some strings only pro wrestling can really pull.

My best memory from the 2000’s was going to Woolworths to get Unforgiven 2005/2006 to see the TLC match on my portable DVD player under the duvet, because am such a b@stard even then (said in Vinces voice), I returned the DVD citing technical issues, got a brand new sealed copy, which was then refunded at a different Woolworths site a few miles away.

He’s putting these new fans through the same pain I went through and you know what? They bloody deserve it for doing a bhangra when he replaced Vince, if they had educated themselves I would have more sympathy, only those who lived through the reign of terror have my grievances.

Then, Now, Forever - a 4/10

H managed to bury himself in every era despite the attempts to make up for his Indian genetics from the waist down.

You’re a smart guy because I literally thought of the same thing, nobody else would have picked this up, it reminded me of the mark promo he did when he got real upset with the IWC & he tried to hide it here and failed

His problem is that he thinks he's smarter and more clever than he is. Funnily enough, I knew if there was anyone who would pick up on this, it would be you.

He has been making statements publicly aswell, because the product sucks and the fans are making him know it. Which he finds hard to swallow

Yes it was awesome. It actually felt like a PLE rather than just an episode of Raw. There were 5 matches which is what WWE under nose has been doing on PLEs.
Even got to see the taping of mainevent. el grande americano vs lwo and New day vs Alpha Academy

He could have had Adam Pearce introduce him but he wanted attention. Such a weirdo.

20 years ago today, the legendary Eddie Guerrero passed away.

I remember going on to the wwe website and reading that Eddie had passed away. At first I thought it was a storyline but sadly, that wasn’t the case. 😭

Eddie was my absolute favourite during 2002-05. His passing hit me so hard and still to this day, his passing hurts me so much. He had so much more left to give to the wrestling business. Just imagine if Eddie was still alive today, he could have been Dominic’s manager or something. I miss Eddie so much.

Yeah but bro @BunnyRabbit that cash you burned on that SmackDown ain't coming back. And from what I recall it was one of those shows you couldn't have paid me to see live :yk3
That was probably the worst SD I have ever seen in my entire life and I paid more for that than I did for this Raw.
That SD was basically Tiffany Stratton and Street Profits wrestling random matches without any storyline.

I always liked Cena. He was just being a good company man through that PG era.
The only top face I have really hated was Roman's big dog days 2016-2018 even though the poor guy was doing his best with the character that didn't have spine. Looking back he did help make stars through his feuds with Strowman, Keith Lee and even Buddy Murphy.

It was a very nice moment. I just hope we get to see him defend it atleast a couple of times before his last match,
Think he'll defend it next week and then lose it either on Survivor Series or his final match. Think he'll be participating in Wargames with Cody, Punk, Jey and probably Roman against Vision plus Brock and someone

even the crowd booed when he said that and started going What chants with even more intensity. They might have bogged down the crowd chants in the TV but the crowd legit threw him off from whatever promo he was trying to cut that he ended up blabbering thrice saying objectively objectively.

Do you think Jericho will return at MSG? I wont be too surprised
I think Jericho definitely is WWE bound but not sure when he'll make his return. I'd like to see the List of Jericho version or Y2J and none of the AEW gimmicks he's done. Vince treated him like a star in his last full run and he admirably carried Raw throughout 2016 till early 2017. Trips will just have him face Aleisteir Black or Damian Priest i am afraid.

Nah I don't think he's doing WarGames. Jey Uso seems like the most likely inclusion for the last spot since LA Knight has been kicked aside for some reason. Fifth guy for the Vision could be Austin Theory

Cena's top years were pretty unsufferable too. He wasn't to blame for it but those were some pretty uninteresting feuds and matches.

Eddie had such a big influence to the guys who came after him like Punk, AJ, Bryan, Sami Zayn, KO, that you just know he would have done hot feuds with all these guys. It's such a shame that we missed out on that experienced vet portion of Eddie's career, because it would have been amazing.
