Third Test match between England and Pakistan ends in a draw as England win series 1-0

Pakistan captain AZHAR ALI, whose side have lost the series 1-0...

"There is great regret [at losing the first Test] but congratulations to England. There were lots of positives in our team - we played competitive cricket throughout the series. There is room for improvement but as a team I am proud of how we fought. Whenever we were under pressure the players responded and they was lots of calmness in the dressing room. We stuck together."

Well done Pak...to get away with 1 nil loss.

Decent afternoon and some manufactured luck could have been 1 nil to Pakistan...thats just the reality im afraid.

As for Pakistan teams actual ability we're an ok side ...no6 or 7 is about right...no way near top sides.

As for personnel, Babar Azam and Afridi are very good...
rest passable.

I dont for a moment buy the logic that England are a great side...we're just very poor. And, if we had won it with some rain, rain and rain ....so what?

Congrats Pakistan for holding out for a draw. That is the last you will see if Anderson at least.

Don't think so Rob, he's still determined and passionate to carry on, and the main point is none of the young and upcoming quicks are banging the door down and jimmy knows hes still better than them which is a worry

How is afridi good he was the biggest let down this summer had high expectations but over all the manchester defeat will hurt only if our batters scored another 60 70. Runs

Man of the match--Rain
Man of the series--Rain.

Test Cricket especially in England is the best sport out there.

A 19 year old can have a bad series , specially away series

To be fair, India have played most of their recent games at home. I think India are #3 or #4.

Aussies are the true #1 currently. They are dominant at home and can compete away (2-2 in England and 1-2 in India).

? india are more dominant at home. All this australia being number 1 talk will end the moment they tour india again. Just like last time, india will take back what's theirs. again.

Not in the places England are about to tour he isn’t.
