WHY are our batsmen making the same mistake as Multan 1st Innings, run rate too slow.

Shaun Udal is a class bowler.

His "slower one" is particularly brilliant. Infact, so effective are they that he bowls six of them per over.

That was our, on the back foot right in front of middle stump, Inzi very lucky to be still out there.

Pakistan is trying to ensure that they are able to declare by the fourth day....

U remember Prasad, used to bowl 6 legcutters in an over.

Pakistan trying to bat themselves back into the match.

Or bore England out of it.

46.3 Udal to Inzamam, no run, short, Inzy shapes up for the pull, but the ball keeps low as it turns towards the middle from just outside off, a huge appeal, umpire Koertzen turns it down, that looked to knock the middle stump, it almost rolled onto knock the stumps!! a reprieve for Inzy

Inshallah, Mohammed Yusuf shall make a 50, although it'll be the scratchiest 50 he ever made.

Its Darell Hair the umpire not Koertzen.

Bell getting reverse swing! What is the world coming to?!

Ian Bell bowling bazookas at the moment.

Or so Pakistan would have us believe.

lol

bell getting reverse at 60mph

hes gonna interet the indians here

Like I said: Pakistani batsmen have edged it all day long.

Their equipment is faulty. Woolmer should not allow the Pakistanis to bat with anything less than 3 feet wide.

well u learn summat new every day

next giles is gonna be getting some also

49.3 Bell to Yousuf, FOUR!!, leans forward and drives it to mid wicket, thats a very good shot

thats better

Bell set to take his first 5 for in Test cricket.

Salman Butt all set to open the bowling for the Pakistanis.

Bit more urgency by Pak batsmen, nice to see, must be careful though, come on lads.

Pakistan should slow down, take their time. This isn't a 20/20 match you know.

Salman bowls off spin, we need a part time medium pace trundler

Showing that great Flintoff catch, Hoggard really liked that, huh. Wouldn't let him go from behind. Maybe he likes Flintoff more for other reasons :)) :)) :))

51.4 Bell to Mohammad Yousuf, FOUR, Glorious off drive! full in length,
on middle and off stump, drives it down the ground and beats the
mid-off and mid-on fielder for four

Those who are watching on TV, how placid is the pitch? worse than Multan? Are there any big cracks on it yet?

Hmmm - so do you think MoYo will make the crescent sign on reaching 50 ?

Pitch is extremely dry.

Cracks have already begun to appear and bowling in the bowler's footholes is bringing some decent turn. As the match goes on, reverse swing and spin will become key.

The surface seems to be breaking easy. spinners will have a ball as days progress. no seam off surface but surface is abrasive, so some swing for the bowlers with the old ball.

52.4 Hoggard to Mohammad Yousuf, one run, full ball, just outside off,
drives it with open face of the bat and ball goes to sweeper cover

he moves to 48
2 left to a 50

a good crowd at the match.. lookz like a near enough full house...

well done to moyo on his 50 :14:

Harmlessone to Yusuf. Inshallah a 4 to bring up his 50. Cover driven, please.

cover drive, beats extra cover for 4. 50 for MoYo. Congrats to him.
Udal the fielder beaten.

Well played Yousaf, now focus and stay there till the end of the day.
