yeah, almost as ridiculous as calling rizwan and harris better than rahane![]()
This is why I rate him as the best. But both these batsmen are capable of entering a beast zone, sometihng that sets them apart. However, the way both achieve this is quite opposite. AB turns into this innovation factory, while Rohit plunders attacks with classical batting and bowlers stand no chance. Ever since he started opening, Rohit has turned into a master of 50 over Cricket. Everything he does has a grace and art about it, so I can see why some people prefer him.
I prefer the classy style of Rohit too when he gets going.
But that does not make AB a "Tulley Baaz" in the way he achieves his runs.
Otherwise your definition of "Tulley Baaz" is completely different.
AB and tulley baaz?![]()
) I also said in next 2-3 years, but yes who cares about complete quote. People only like what suits them.
Convenient i guess.
You have to give it to the Indian batsmen. Their approach to batting is pure masterclass. Full of confidence, aggressive approach, rotating the strike, and putting away the bad deliveries. Our batsmen (though highly talented) can really learn a thing or two from the boys in blue.
Not overall, but AB's beast mode does involve some high quality tulleybaazi imo.
Based on his performance in Vijay Hazare trophyOn what basis has sran been selected, his first class record is also very poor, did he also send some biryani to dhoni?![]()
Can't see India winning this, they don't have the firepower to get to 300+ and challenge the Aussies.
They'll need the Aussies to bat poorly to win.
AB is anything but "tulley-baazi".
You need to see the guy bat in tests when required to defend.
He plays the way the game is supposed to go.
"Tulley Baaz" is someone like Afridi or Umar Akmal.
None of his shots are tulleybaazi. They are all proper cricketing shots but improvised. Never does he close his eyes and swings wildly.
Still should be doing much better against this bowling attack.Nobody win in OZ anyway. I'll be happy if we compete.

You're not alone.AB is anything but tullaybaaz. He can play in a variety of styles. However I may be in the minority here, but I don't find AB's shots even in tests to be as pleasing to the eyes as it is for the shots of Williamson, Rahane, etc. I find Amla's play more pleasing to the eyes than AB's even though I hate his batting stance.
Maxwell doesn't swing blindly either and does a lot of improvisations, but he's still called a slogger.

Lol, it means you don't even follow your domestic tournaments, or fan of IPL? Bhaag Viru Bhaag

Just post 300+, then chances of winning are high.
Where are your power hitters to get you to 300?Its fine for now I think. No Starc to bowl Yorkers at the death so we can accelerate in the last 10-15 if we have wickets.
Moral victories, brother. Thats the spirit.
Maxwell does swing wildly on many of his shots.
I think my understanding of the term tulley-baaz was seriously flawed. Sorry to AB fans, didn't mean it like that.
More like 400 to ensure a win in these conditions I assume. Remember the WC last year? Had massive scores.
Where are your power hitters to get you to 300?
Fine going at 5, but you need a good finish to get to 300.
Pakistan better pray for even those when you go down under next year) .

We'll be sweeping the Aussies. They'd be lucky to get a win.
No, brother. We prefer real victories. Moral victories concept is only limited to our indian brethren which they invented in the wake of the recent away tours.
2 sharma's and 2 dhawan'sAustralia Squad

We'll be sweeping the Aussies. They'd be lucky to get a win.
Of course, Warner and Smith have already planned retirements in before Amir comes
Apparently Boland is a very good death bowler.
Well you're not getting either anyway so its a fool's hope. Reality is what keeps us sane after all bro.![]()

Yet no one chased a 300 plus total (apart from against Minnows ) in the world cup.More like 400 to ensure a win in these conditions I assume. Remember the WC last year? Had massive scores.
Like Pakistan's last test series in Zimbabwe. Oh wait.
Rohit averages a beastly 60+ in australia at a strike rate of 92 with 3 centuries, and to think sachin has just 1 odi century in australia, what has this world come to![]()
Going at 10 an over in the last 10 overs isn't as easy now, you're allowed 5 outside of the 30 yard circle in the last 10.They scored 300 multiple times in the WC against good bowling teams. Guess you weren't watching.
The plan is to have one of the top 3 stay till the end and then Dhoni, Jadeja, Ashwin etc need to chip in at the end.

Last time we played australia in england. We beat them in t20s and tests. I would say dont jump the gun too early brother or that reality might come back to bite you on the backside.
One thing Ive noticed is Indian batsmen arent panicking or anything even looking at the scoreboard. Yes they have slowed down, but they seem okay with it.
Our batsmen seem hurried, flustered and out of breath, with labored shots as if everything in their life depends on outcome of the next ball.
Dont know why.
Urm, what? We actually beat australia. You might want to check before exposing ignorance.
And what happened in the last three tourscof Australia itself. Beating OZ in a neutral venue is nothing great. Beat them or atleast drawx1 match in OZ before you have such delusions of grandeur. Try and avoid a whitewash if you can. That would be Pakistan's first moral victory in Australia since 1995.![]()

You lost 0-3 in 3 test series you played against Australia.
Then we're screwed![]()
Might want to check the context before shooting from the backside.
I'm not watching at work or even on Cricinfo.
But keep looking here for updates on the action. Not the match - which is pointless and clearly Australia couldn't even be bothered to field a decent team.
No, the action is watching Pakistanis sledge Indians about a match no Aussies can be bothered to follow!
Might want to check the context before shooting from the backside.
No, Boland isn't good enough. Paris is better than him.

What context? You lost 3-0. End of.
