Tea is near , poms need to be careful here. Sometimes you make mistakes , when you get too defensive.
 
i hope India dont ruin this by inept bowling now, Someone apart from BK also needs to contribute

Pitch is starting to turn and bite, surprisingly.

Or Moeen Ali doesn't look too good against Jadeja.
 
Only Kumar has looked incisive so far. And the pitch is flattening out by the minute.

Fair to say England got the best of the conditions to bowl in, which was all day yesterday.

If somebody doesn't know the meaning of unfair, they can watch this match and learn it.

Bad toss to lose.

But yeah its part and parcel of the game.

Good that India didn't mess this Test match up.

Next time let's hope India wins a good toss.

Pitch has gone flat. We will concede lead after that crazy first innings and we will have to fight out in the second innings to ensure this test is a draw.

Toss cannot be controlled but its impact in this test cannot be put into words.

English commies say Indian bowlers have easily outbowled English bowlers and we are looking at conceding a lead. That's the effect of this toss.

Garbage pitch now.

Did you notice how the conditions have drastically changed. Yes, toss can't be controlled.. With the pitch behaving the way it is now, England look set for 450-500

New ball will bring at least 2 or 3 wickets today
 
kumar can get couple any time with new ball , Poms need to be on guard , it will be critical moment in the game the new ball.

This is the most cruel joke inflicted upon us.

Pujara had to battle for hours for his 28 and now you watch its value.

Just wait and watch. We are done and dusted.

Englisht bowlers bowled awfully. With the kind of pitch they got they just needed to put the ball in right areas and they would have rolled India under 150. India has bowled well but they lack penetration skills with the older ball. New ball is the key, If you can get a couple of wickets you can restrict Eng under 300 I believe. India should have brought Amit Mishra (if he's in the squad he should be playing).

We should have declared at 120-6 man, I'm sure Bhuvi would have finished England for 150-200 :))

Still we would have conceded some 100 runs lead.

In hindsight, this match was gone the moment Dhoni lost the toss.

The very fact that we are not yet pounded shows that we have fought well. Just need to scrape a draw and escape from here.
 
Brilliant century when his team needed him the most. if it weren't for him and Moeen, Eng probably would have got bowled out for 250.

Draw is very much on cards if we can stop England at 350.. can't afford to concede 400..
 
I would GLADLY take a loss if we were pounded on a green track that stayed green.

GLADLY. No problems accepting my team is rubbish if they really are.

But what is happening now is just boring.
 
Green wickets for test matches really looks beautiful and makes game interesting. In my opinion flat pitches should be abolished for test matches in order for test to survive and keep interest. Flat pitches should mainly be used for T20 matches.
 
India has been a better side in this Test by far. Its just the toss that has balanced things out.
