Jadeja is playing an unbelievable innings.. In the zone! I just hope India can bat atleast 1 hour after lunch. Will make for a great match
 
Bunny played as expected,if only dhoni played sensibly and did not tuk tuk brainlessly ,something he's not capable of
 
They just have to carry on and on and on.

That's it.

Forget about scores and play the way they are doing.

Logic and all - throw it away.

Put yourself in his shoes dude.

Jaddu is smashing everything. If by fluke these tail adds extra 50-100, England have to pay the price.

With that being said, Cook is the kind of Test captain who would make Dhoni look good. So generally I think Cook is rubbish but here I can understand.
 
Rohit will surely replace Binny in the next match.. Jadeja's career depends on the innings he's playing now. If Southampton offers a spin pitch, we need to drop Ishant and bring Ashwin..
 
What kind of lead do you think would make us favourites?

India already have more than enough, you can't count on England's noobs for anything.
 
I think India have already got too many for this nervous England batting line to chase down, barring a return to form by Cook.

If Alec Stewart and Graham Thorpe were there I'd say otherwise but I don't know how these lads will respond in a chase.
 
Indian bowlers aren't really experienced in defending totals. And England batsmen in chasing totals.

This a first for both these sets. Let the battles begin..
 
Only twice has there been a successful run chase at Lords more than this current Indian lead - 282 and 344. England aren't getting that, barring a miracle.
 
According to the bookies England and India are both the same price at 2.20 and the draw is 7. The assumption is though that India are going to get another 50 runs. So anything more than another 50 runs and India will be favourites.

If india win this this will be one of the best overseas victory by a SC team. Considering how much the toss should have decide this game. India have done superbly to get themselves in this position.

Nice to have that stat. Also England hasn't won a Test match chasing over 200 since 2008.

Still I wouldn't be so sure. Its not like this pitch is a minefield (it has some life but not a minefield).
 
Selection and deserving to lose are 2 issues.

I am mad at selections and that IDIOT Dhoni.

But no, its not like we deserve to lose.

We deserve to lose because of garbage like binny ishant etc. Of course England are doing their best to outdo us in this regard as well.

So Rahane, Vijay, Pujara's, Bhuvi's efforts deserves a loss because of Idiot Dhoni and some comedians?

I don't think so.

This is the BEST I have seen us play in years. No test match of ours in recent times comes even close.

350 is a minimum. Don't forget that Anderson scored an 80+ against your lot in the last game. You allowed HackCullum to score a double and a triple century in a span of 2 tests. Never forget that your bowling is truly tripe.

My point was that the team as a whole is quite rubbish and the only reason we look good is because England is playing even worse than we are. Take this lot to AUS now and we'll see a different picture completely.

What we did in the first day green green track was special.

Can you honestly tell me for sure that the Fab 4 would have played better on that track? Not necessary.

What we did with the ball (Bhuvi) was special.

We do NOT deserve to lose.

Doesn't matter if we lose all test matches here and in Australia. We do not deserve to lose this test match (unless we bowl total crap and let England go to an easy win).

Your English commies were saying Indians bowled better on this pitch.

Having a bit of humility helps.

But anyways, if England chase it down, they deserve to win and kudos to them.

If India do not get a lead of 330, most probably they lose. There is still 155 overs left and even if England play at snails pace with no risks, they will win this match.

India need another 75 runs minimum to make a game of it.

Pathetic from MSD and Binny to not contribute anythng when the team needed the most.

SIF, the track was negated by the fact that England's line and length was poor. If you bow l short and wide, you'll get hammered senseless by any international batsman. And no the fab four would have taken this bowling apart at their peak.

Not that great, England are mediocre right now. I reckon the WI could probably take them in England too.
 
india need to play another 15overs to make their game now is still england game if they knock them out inside 20runs

Not surely. They may be better batsman for sure but they wouldn't have taken England bowlers apart on this green track.

The criticism was that England bowlers didn't make India play well. Its NOT that they bowled everything short and wide and made the scoring easy. We still were 145-7 and if not for Rahane, Bhuvi would have been bowled out for 160. England has made lots of mistake, is in disarray, etc. Doesn't mean India doesn't deserve to win.

Its like saying England didn't deserve to win in India in 2012.
 
At their peak, the fab 4 would have annihilated this England side.

Broad and Anderson have been pretty average this series.

When you get a greentop with Jimmy and Broad bowling to an inexperienced Indian batting lineup. They should have bowled India out for 150.
