Not recently, he's been good in county after his County bowling coach helped him unbreak his action. And he's better than Jordan at least. And hey, if he breaks his own stumps on the way to 48.3 SR and under 30 average with 90 wickets from 23 matches, all fine to me. That's decent stats for a third bowler!

he's no swann but england at the start of the summer seemed to view him as somebody to just keep it tight for 3-4 and give the quick a breather and he looks a lot more than that so they must be delighted.

Didnt Kumble bowl with a broken jaw. With some pain numbing injections Broad should be fine.

I've had my jaw broken and nose broken. I'd prefer my jaws to be fractured than nose. Nose makes your entire face feel messed up, watery eyes, hazy vision and etc. Fractured Jaws feel like it is heavy but doesn't hurt your entire face. Both are damn painful.
