This will probably seal the fate of the series for pakistan if they manage to come out on top today then we would have a real chance of winning or drawing this series otherwise it's going to be all gloomy from here on for us.

I just hope they show some fight and not just capitulate to 150 - 200 all out . .

Some absolutely stunning analysis by Bazid Khan on Ten Sports. This guy is just so good

Just a little bit of history: in 2013 Australia batted for the better part of two days and gave England few overs to bat and they closed at 52 for 2. We are effectively three down as we have lost a nightwatchman. England recovered on day 3 to post 300 for seven. Considering misbah, shafiq, sarfaraz to come and maybe Shan hanging about, it's not beyond the realms of probability on a pretty flat pitch

Aap kay munh mein Ghee Shakar mere Bahi... Inshallah Bro

Masood survived yesterday because he could play back because the bowling was too short.

If they pitch it up he will struggle.

Masood might be a very limited batsmen but why I like him is because he fights tooth and nail until his limitations catch up to him

Ok so I calculated here.....We started the day at 24 Overs right so if we play a full day's cricket we need to bat until 114 overs.

30 overs per session.

24+30 = 54 Overs (break it down into 10 overs each x 3)
54+30 = 84 Overs (break it down into 15 overs each x 2)
84+30 = 114 Overs (break it down into sets of 20 and 10 overs each)

Much easier like this to be honest.

At this very moment we have played 3.1 overs out of the first 10 so another 6.5 overs to go !! for the completion of the first set

I'll try to keep a track of the above guys.. Let's see where we reach on the scale at the end !!

We wont get 114 overs today, maximum we will get 80 overs today ;) Rest of the day, rain + rain = Rain.

Agree with commentators. Placid pitches that allow the team batting 1st score 500+ kill the contest as a spectacle and is not good for Test cricket.

Neutrals loved the Lord's Test because it was nip and tuck all the way.

If they're going to decide to deadbat for 3 days, might as well call it quits then because it's not possible.

Comando gone. Need a big effort from Shafiq and misbah not too optimistic tbh

Ball is zagging around miles, which match are you watching? In Lord's Pak got first use of the pitch, if England had batted first, they would have racked in 450 easily

Match will be finish by today!!!! What a pathetic batting we have

Shan Masood might have scored enough to warrant a spot in the next game.

We are rivals . Did you expect us to support you over any other team? :srini Granted that this was not an easy choice considering that it was England of all teams that you are playing. No hate. :)

Nah Mate !! All is well bro :D Just having a little banter here and there :))

Dil per na lena dost :najam

Imagine if Asad gets a century, he still wouldn't beet Sober's record because he's now batting at 7 :))

Comando is a hardworking and nice boy but he's not learning from his dismissals. One of shan or Hafeez has to be replaced in the next game.

Obviously now its doing a bit under the clouds but on Day 1 there was nothing for the bowlers.

At least at Lord's on Day 1 the groundstaff left a little grass on the wicket.

Hilarious how some on here are showing different scenarios on how to save the match.

Match will be over by tomorrow probably just after lunch

England field placing is really good, they have the areas for which batsmen want to score singles covered. Whilst we was the opposite in the England innings

Sarfraz is good but I dont expect a huge score from him. These 2 both have to get big tons if we want a draw

I am following this no more, going to follow Eng lions vs Pak A match....

2 reasons

1.Bhatti demolishing Eng lions like there's no tomorrow
2.Atleas we can find future stars so that we can replace our batting unit(top 4) and worst tail(barring amir and yasir)

You were negative throughout the first test. Obviously some of your negative rubbish is bound to come true at some point so stop feeling proud about your genius predictions.

I think batting first is an advantage these days regardless if where you are playing unless it's a green mamba. Pakistan benefitted from batting first at Lords and there was not much for the bowlers there either .

We have Rahat Ali , Wahab and Amir (is still not at his best)

They have Woakes, Anderson, Broad and Stokes. There is a huge difference

In other news !! Bilawal Bhatti, of all people :))), is dismantling the English Lions Middle order as if he was the second coming of Malcom Marshal.

Yes boys you heard it right. ITS BILAWAL MALCOM BHATTI MARSHAL !!

What do you expect in 1st session under clouds?? This pitch is better than Lord's one where we batted good.

That may also have been because England lacked Anderson in the previous match perhaps. He's excellent at manipulating such conditions to his advantage

Anderson - Inswing, outswing, inswing at will with the same action.

Our pacers don't move the ball an inch. Even Amir swung 2-3 deliveries only.

Are you alright? The only thing Bhatti will demolish are Pak As chances of winning.

Actually, that's what has happened :O: HOW?

Shafiq should be batting in 3 ahead of Azhar Ali. In overseas Azhar Ali can never deliver
