It looks like start will be delayed from the weather and they may actually get good weather late afternoon so they may extend some time later.

where is everyone? no interest left in this match guys?? normally you guys are up and posting a few hours before start of play. aaj to lagta hai sab bhai so rahe hain :ibutt

If weather permits, would we start early today? or normal time?

We have to make use of these conditions and skittle the English out for 150. :asif

Need to bowl them out quickly, dont see Pakistan scoring much on these conditions.

Suns out dagnamit. Lets hope its a little more cloudy down at Lords..

Hopefully we'll see more action today as the weather looks a bit better. The rain has moved away, for now at least, although the light isn't great.

Cricinfo.

Out catching needs to deliver! :umarakmal

Yeah totally agree, no fun with great bowling when the fielders don't support the bowlers.

Personally I hope we can get many LBWs and bowled so we don't need to rely much on our Jonthy Rhoes'

10.35am Great news folks, the umpires have confirmed that play will start on time and the day is already brightening up nicely.

we really need to bat today to have a chance of winning lets hold our catches when they come.

10.45am It's still an overcast day so there should be plenty of help for the Pakistan bowlers which means another challenge for the England batsmen. Kevin Pietersen is next in and needs some runs, as do Paul Collingwood and Eoin Morgan.

Great so its still overcast :14:

Cmaaan let's start the play now, sun is creeping out :aamir

How effing annoying is that Amitabh Bachan & Chennai Team's T20 Championship ad on Star Sports if you're watching the stream....

as if we need overcast conditions to knock them over! :asif :aamir :wahab :ajmal :butt

Beautiful from Amir - right on the money.
Good to know that the drop only cost 9 runs.

Cook looks like a dumbo to me...any club cricketer knows that the flaps of the leg guards should face away from each other...meaning they should be to the outside....not towards the inside solely to avoid instance where you hit the flap with you bat and also because it could effect your running...

What a start by Pak!!

This is even better than getting Cook yest - now we have a new and yet to set KP against fresh Pak bowlers this morning ;-)

So Aamer needs one more wicket for his average to fall under 30?!
