Yes from now on we can have this confidence. People can give the example of last England and South African tours. But we had issues with our batting (opening) and the bowling combination. And the selection mess... But still the series would have gone either way. Once we sort out some loopholes things will improve. Two proper seasoned openers, No.6 batsman (whether allrounder/pure-batsman/wicket-keeper), 4 bowlers or 5 bowlers, 3 seamers + 1 spinner or 2 seamers + 2 spinners (I think this is sorted out now, We should definitely go with just 1 spinner in SENA, our seamers are now good enough, they are overtaking spinners in India itself!). I think SENA are exploiting these loopholes to good effect as of now. If we keep tightening this, then we can become that much stronger & better! In India however these loopholes become negligible and won't have any chance for opposition...
