India (376 & 287/4d) crush Bangladesh (149 & 234) in 1st Test by 280 runs, taking 1-0 lead in 2-Test match series

Hasan is having a dream time. Pant played a really lose shot. Gambhir will be cursing him.
 
Having a spell like that against world's best team, I was thinking Hasan was the weakest link. He needs to increase his pace though and loose the baby fat on his face. Needs to be trained by the great Kohli on getting a six pack.
 
Nahid Rana and Taskin not supporting our boy well, both needs to be dropped and replaced with Ebadot & Shoriful
 
Our bowlers have no answer to Jaiswel, he already scored more than enough of what our top six will score.
 
Has anyone figured out what is Jaiswal's weakness? Maybe we need to bring a bowler with a murderous intent, he has nothing to loose :shakib

Commentators trying their beat to up KL Rahul and now comparing him to VVS is ridiculous. VVS was amazing under pressure, while this guy is good only on instagram.
 
This nehal guy has got very good pace..bangladesh has found a gem will go for runs but will also be a X factor

They can challenge in sena with nahid and shoriful. But their batting needs to improve vs pace and bounce.
 
Hasan is a very impressive seamer. The way he toyed with Rizwan and got him desperately looking for a release shot - I knew he was going to be a threat even here.
 
Kohli chasing 7th stump on the off stump. Gill 6th stump on the leg side. THen Pant played a lazy shot. Pant can be forgiven. But Gill and KOhli don't make bowlers earn the wickets.

They have much better batsman than us..shakib and mushi are out of form but been big players..shanto and das are quality..mominul used to be decent and then their spinners who have an average if 200 when batting against us

Kohli should go back to uk and live with shaz619

Don't come back to India for tests.

Gill should only play on bouncy flat pitches. Hint of turn and swing and the bozo goes missing.

Kl should just be discarded. Somehow we will keep on persisting with this perennial loser till he collapses due to health issues

so far this thread has been very respectful, no poster from any country is trashing the other.
 
IT will come down to how the pitch breaks up in the coming days. Chennai seems to be unusually all day cloudy. It probably allows the seamers to bowl longer spells.
 
Shakib averages 77 in India, no wonder why he is hiding. I remember once when Watson went berserk he let that other left arm bowl and was scared to bowl.
 
Would rather get sedated by a tranquiliser that puts lions to sleep than watch kela bat.
 
Seriously good fast bowling this from Bangladesh.

They're comfortably the second best Test pace attack in Asia right now.
 
Looks like 220-240 is the max this lineup can score in Tests on any challenging surface. Again bowlers have to do the heavy lifting,
 
Test cricket and odi is all about pace attack. Always. Pace attack wins games. Yes you need good batting too but without good pace bowlers you will never win away from home.

When I say pace I don't mean spray guns. Like 135 to 145 pace or higher with bounce and movement.
 
Mental midget is gone. The commentators were comparing this joker to the great VVS.
