Set pieces are normal , all teams want to score.

But Arsenal are called Stoke even by their own fans because Arteta wants the team to look for corners, free kicks. If you both to find out the % of Arsenal goals from set pieces you wouldnt have wrote this rubbish.

If a team is playing in a low block and making it difficult for you to create from open play - then set pieces are needed to break the game open.

We did this well last season - not so much this season. Konate especially has missed a few free headers.

Not sure what's so controversial about the manager stating this.

For 20+ years we heard Arsene Wenger and Arsenal fans lecturing everyone about beautiful football, "the right way" to play, and turned their noses up at teams like Bolton and Stoke.

Now they spent a fortune to play like those teams and suddenly they're painting murals of their set-piece coach.

I guess it's never too late to find religion.

Arsenal are historically known as 1-0 to the Arsenal. Under Graham they were horrible to watch, Wenger improved them vastly to become an exciting team but since have gone back to Stokes tactics. Liverpool and City fans pay money but are rewarded with exciting football, Arsenal fans spend most of the 90min with their necks in the air like confused ostriches looking for a ball.

I never mentioned Arsenal at any point. Talk about living rent free ;)

I will leave the finding of % to your Baldy manager. He seems as sensitive and obsessed as Pool fans

We are champions. Its the Arsenal fans who keep looking at the LFC thread as they are now worried Arteta will bottle the league again. Take off the hinges and accept your are shtng yourself in reality now.

I have said it several times that I think Arsenal will win the league.

A lot of comments from you relating to other men. Have these been your fantasies while you were locked away in your room hiding the last few weeks? Otherwise its quite odd behaviour to keep suggesting stuff like that.

If @Amjid Javed is indeed free on the weekend i'd happily hang out with him...BUT please don't make that into one of your odd fantasies to. Stick to football or is it because you are being ripped a new one that you resort to childish comments.

I am concerned for your safety to because of the way you are acting. The fact that you literally made another comment after I said to stick to football regarding other men and tulip fields. tells me you are trying to cover something up by acting all macho.

Tough opponent tonight. Brentford's strengths are our weaknesses - long balls, low block and set-pieces.

There's an argument for Gomez to play RB to help counter that threat, but then we've no specialist CBs on the bench !

Szobo and Jones were excellent as our two deepest midfielders vs Frankfurt and must start again. If Gravenberch's fit then Szobo can play the #10 role like last season.

Although Wirtz was superb, I'd be relucant to start him as that'd leave us vulnerable aerially.

Gakpo and Ekitike will surely play which leaves an interesting dilemma at RW. Salah has been woeful (not helped by poor service) but manager doesn't seem to trust Chiesa to start. Frimpong's injured so options are limited.

@MK7Z @Amjid Javed I'm enjoying KKWC getting a taste of his own medicine after his antics on the Arsenal thread last season.

Last season he went missing after the defeat in the Carbao Cup Final and then he claimed he went travelling but his Last Seen was also there for everyone to see. I'm glad everyone can see him for what he is. A plastic fan who goes missing when his team is losing.

Things haven’t been easy for Liverpool ever since Isak arrived. I was personally against him leaving Newcastle, but need to give him some time. Things can change quickly.

Either they encouraged him to behave the way he did (this is what I believe) and they deserve this or they signed him knowing he was sat on his backside and they deserve this
 
Brentford daerved the win.

Arne Slot needs to calm down.... wirtz played about 3 different positions.

Szboszlai, midfield, rightback and then a CAM, lol.

This was anything but management.

VVD and kerkez have zero chemistry, can drive a bus through their gap....

A lot of issues that were papered iver at the start, top 4 needs to be the aim and focus on CL.

Konate looks horrid dont know why hes in demand with such performance and van dijk has been poor, the fullbacks are new but again look extremely fragile defending due to constant leaking of goals its effecting the whole team .

Its ridiculous any proper defensive signing were made and a defensive midfielder

Also some shocking decisions to let young players leave quansah and Brentfords van der berg was a Liverpool prospect he was immense yesterday in Brentford defense

Liverpool shouldn't have left the gheui pursuit till last day of season. Plus your midfield looks over balance going forward, do no shock your full backs get even more exposed
