Liverpool FC 2025/26 Season

Back to back titles are rare. Only City have achieved this in recent years. I’m not expecting Liverpool to be at that level be fair is unrealistic . I’m expecting expecting them to be competing again next season.

No please tell us what Ars achieved after the Invincibles title. Done try to be clever pls.
In Liverpools case very rare. However teams after winning the title put up some sort of title defence.

And a title defence was expected with the money that was spent. Which is the reason why this is probably one of the worst title defences of all time.

I asked you were aware of anything like this before. The answer is NO. No team has ever fallen off like this after a title win.

Come over to the Arsenal thread if you wish to talk about Arsenal...

Well done, manchild... Arsenal fan TV ovr the years has been a figment of the imagination... lol.

Pluck a random fan and use that... excellent sampling manchild, can see numbers was not a strong point, too busy doodling, appropriating the john smith culture and trying so hard to make virtual friends for a legacy, you succeeded on the last bit, bunch of groupies who show misplaced deference

Who you referring to fella with the last sentence?
He's rattled as usual, only took me and you to question Liverpools blip and he's turned into Eubank wannabe troll as usual.

Like uve pointed out, most these Liverpool fans act like cry babies when called out.

I don't like the indirect digs he has. We haven't interacted for a short while but he seems to take shots at our fanbase trying to be sly.

He doesn't all the time, then acts civilised for a short while then starts again.

He's also an expert in everyone's lives, their age, intellect, jobs, health etc..

He calls out people for a so called lack of intelligence, but then he can't string sentences of proper English together.

Finished 1 nil to Liverpool. Beaten Sunderland away. First team to beat Sunderland at home this season in the PL.

Good away win against a decent home team.

I enjoyed watching Wirtz, he had a v good game, movement is brilliant to watch

Endo's injury looked bad, do not know how he carried on playing for a minute or so afterwards- madness!

If that is what you wish to believe- you are trying very hard.

If anything, based on the klopp vs pep years and the City fans etc. As liverpool fans, do not want City to win it!!

However, Arsenal fans are giving them a good run for their money but 3/4 of 1 season of idiocy vs several years and potshots from perennial, serial winners vs perennial, serial underachievers (shan't use the B word....) is not the same.

So, anyone but City!! And Anyone but anyone from Manchester...

Bro you do realise this was only aimed at one particular Liverpool supporter? The one who’s been getting bantered all season.

I’m certain he was cheering for a City win. I’m 110% sure of that.

Man City - poor first half, better second half but lost the plot once again towards the end.

Sunderland - didn't get to watch but ending their unbeaten run at home was a massive result. Shame Endo's injured leaving our options even thinner.

Brighton - tonight was probably the best 90 of the season. Some lovely football with three good goals. Salah playing more like himself, Kerkez was outstanding and my MOTM, kept a clean sheet and some of the kids got mins.

Hope we get a nice draw at home in the next round.

You rightly mentioned that the Arsenal thread shouldn't get derailed

I did say arguably the worst title defence but it's hard to think of one that is worse, all things considered

Leicester dropped off after winning but them winning in the first place was a miracle

You had Chelsea drop off after winning in Mourinho's 2nd stint but they didn't really have an active summer combined with Mourinho going nuclear and losing the plot

Ye Liverpool fans seem to object their insecurities on other teams.

This has been a bit of a disaster PL season for them which will probably be salvaged by a top 4 finish.

The idea with this sort of spend was domination for years to come.

Leicester doesn't really count cos well it's Leicester and I think Kante left the following season?

Van Dyk just said the league is tough hmmmm 🤔

Interesting for all the "it's a rubbish league this year" army

The league leaders didn't exactly set themselves apart against Wolverton.
Is that the standard? ok to lose against the bottom team just because the team who is top only got a draw.

Ignoring the fact Liverpool are the reigning champions + spent the most ever in a transfer window.

Seems like copium to me.

Who are Wolverton?

FTR, I'm an Arsenal fan and as much as i love to make fun of LFC and LFC fans like @KingKhanWC, wolverton seems to get for the game as against top sides .

Galatasaray fans banned from Liverpool second leg

Galatasaray fans have been banned from the club's Champions League visit to Liverpool later this month following crowd disturbances during their game with Juventus in the previous round.

European governing body Uefa said supporters of the Turkish club had thrown objects and lit fireworks during the last-16 play-off tie second leg in Turin on 25 February.

Despite losing 3-2 on the night, they progressed 7-5 on aggregate and will host the Merseysiders in Istanbul next Tuesday (17:45 GMT) with the return leg to be staged at Anfield on 18 March (20:00).

However, Uefa has banned the Super Lig leaders from selling tickets to supporters for the away trip and also fined them 40,000 euros (£34,800).

In a statement, Galatasaray said they would appeal against the punishment.
