We still haven't announced out candidates. I'm a bit disappointed. In ISB even Musharrafs party has more campaigning than ours!

not quite.
1st he said he will wipe it out in 90 days.
then he said he will wipe out the 'big' corruption in 90 days.
then he said that the same phenomenon happened in Bihar (or someplace in India) that is where he got the 90 days figure from.
plenty of revisions from IK.
Even WITH his revisions, it's much better than saying "I want bullet trains". Seriously, that is an idiotic thing to say.

anyone seen this? interesting.
that's a matter of opinion, they have a background of 'building' stuff hence they use it to their advantage.
one can just as easily get bored of sweeping claims of change, revolution etc etc...
PTV promoting usKey is turnout... we need 60+% to clean sweep. Keep Vote4None guys out!!!

AZ yaar jaan dyo, i have watched almost every interview of Imran in the last 3 years and he has ALWAYS said big corruption. He has ALWAYS said we need to start from top as that is what hurts the economy the most and it can surely be tackled in 3 months.
that is fine, where am I saying he is lying or any such thing?
just that it is a pretty bold/far-fetched claim, and that I have my doubts that is feasible.
Insafians really need to stop getting so worked up over IK, really.

I think the larger point is not whether Imran Khan can eliminate corruption or NSharif can build bullet trains but rather the content of the statements. Corruption is a very real problem facing Pakistan which if eliminated could increase tax revenue as much as 2 billion USD and lead to a better law and order situation throughout the country. The Bullet trains one the other hand are an extremely expensive investment costing several billion dollars with no real economic or political justification. The only countries where bullet trains are justifiable are highly dense and post industrialized countries where the populace can afford and would prefer the trains ie Japan. The two Statement reflect Imran Khan's and Sharif's vision for Pakistan, while Imran wants to do something real for Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif would rather waste money on a white elephant project.
Worked up, really?
My friend it may seem far fetched but i think Imran is one person who has achieved what most thought was far fetched and hardly ANY one can question his intentions so he will undoubtedly make a huge difference if he gets a chance.
Such projects boost the economy and will eventually increase streams of revenue and create jobs, I would say that is a pretty significant justification.

PTI Needs to do attack ads to put PMLN on defensive![]()
my constituency is NA-125 Lahore.
Khawaja Saad Rafique from PMLN.
not sure whom it will be from PTI yet.
I am from NA-125 too. Hamid Khan is a great choice but KH Saad is way to popular. Also, the JI candidate will get a lot of votes. So, all in all, saad rafique favorite to win.
Will do hopefully, thanks. But Hamid Khan needs to start campaigning. Saad Rafique had a jalsa 2 days ago and JI held around 10 corners meetings and a grand workers convention.NA 125 people .... Tabdeeli Razakar for this constituency visit Bhatti marriage lawn, New airport road. 15th April 7 pm for training.
How many new MW created in last 5 years?
I do not think, this line of attack will work ..
Most of the Tehreek-i-Insaf leaders are against allowing their vice chairman, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, to contest election from two constituencies in Sindh as an independent candidate, according to PTI sources.
Although Mr Qureshi at a recent press conference claimed that PTI chief Imran Khan was very much on board about his decision to file nomination papers for NA 228 and NA 230 as an independent candidate, the party has yet to make a formal announcement on the move.
Shafqat Mahmood, a PTI spokesman, only said the decision was part of a special arrangement for contesting elections in Sindh. He parried a question whether other party leaders or ticket holders would be afforded a similar generosity by the leadership.
When confronted with a similar question earlier this month in Karachi, Imran Khan failed to justify the reason for allowing Mr Qureshi to go solo in Sindh. Instead, he said it wasn’t a serious issue; after all he was vice chairman of the party. “Even if Mr Qureshi contests the election on a party ticket or independently, the seat will remain with the PTI,” Mr Khan was quoted as saying.
“A majority of us are not happy with Mr Qureshi’s decision to contest the election as an independent candidate,” said a senior party leader who is also member of the PTI’s board entrusted with the task of awarding party tickets.
“What a paradox that Mr Qureshi had announced his decision to join the PTI at a massive rally in Sindh on Nov 27 last year and now he is contesting the election from the province as an independent candidate,” said the leader.
“The move will definitely not send a good message to voters and PTI activists who are working day and night for a much-needed change in the country,” he added.
Talking to Dawn, a party member said the matter had been taken up at meetings in Islamabad in which Mr Khan preferred to keep quiet instead of defending Mr Qureshi’s decision.
The party’s media wing, which otherwise has been forthcoming in replying to journalists’ questions, is in a quandary over the matter. “Yes, we find ourselves in an awkward position when media personnel ask questions about Mr Qureshi’s decision,” the party official added.
One plausible explanation given by a PTI leader about the decision was local dynamics in the two Sindh constituencies. The PML-Functional chief, Sibghatullah Shah Rashidi (Pir Pagara), was willing to support Mr Qureshi only if he joined the former’s political alliance in Sindh against the PPP, the PTI leader said.
The PTI has announced that it will not be part of any political alliance and contest the elections alone. The party might have opted for a seat adjustment with the PML-F, but it was not possible because of the latter’s alliance with the PML-N. “This is the only explanation which Mr Qureshi can offer to his party colleagues, although the PTI has yet to clarify the mystery in so many words in the media,” the official said.
Another explanation is that because of the tough competition in NA 148, Multan, his home constituency, Mr Qureshi does not want to take any risk and has decided to contest the election from the Sindh constituencies where he has followers of his ancestors and the PML-F’s support can earn him an NA seat.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has confirmed its tickets for four out of five National Assembly constituencies in the district, besides announcing its candidates for various provincial assembly seats.
In NA-143, the PTI confirmed ticket to Mehmoodur Rehman Khan Lashari, a lawyer. He had contested 2008 election from PP-185 on Pakistan People`s Party ticket.
Sources say Lashari had actually been seeking PPP ticket for the constituency while the PTI was looking for a suitable candidate for NA-143. So, they say, the party and the man suited each other.
In PP-185, Mian Anwar Pasha had been confirmed as PTI candidate. The party ignored the former MPA, Malik Akram Bhatti, for the constituency who will now contest election as an independ-ent candidate.
In PP-189 the PTI ticket went to Chaudhry Masud Shafgat Rubera, belonging to politically influential Rubera family. In NA-144, the PTI has confirmed ticket to Rao Khalid Mustafa, while for PP-190 it chose Chaudhry Muhammad Azhar who is also district president of the party.
In PP-191 the PTI has confirmed Qari Hafizullah Baloch as its candidate.
Baloch is the party`s district general secretary.
In NA-145 the PTI confirmed its ticket to Ali Husnain Naqvi, while in PP-186 it awarded ticket to Chaudhry Wasi Tahir.
In PP-187 the pary has yet to announce its candidate.
In NA-146, the PTI confirmed ticket to Prof Abdur Rauf Dola, while for PP-192 the party confirmed Chaudhry TariqIrshad Khan as its candidate, ignoring former MPA Malik Nazar Fareed Khokhar and Mian Sanaullah Dola. After being refused the PTI ticket, both joined Dr Abdul Qadeer`s Tehrik-e-Tahafuz-ePakistan party.
In NA-147 and PP-193 the PTI ticket had not been confirmed to any candidate.
.
The Pakistan TehreeleiInsaf has entered the electoral politics of Muzaffargarh with the nomination of its candidates for NA-178, PP254, PP-255 and PP-252. All nominees are defectees from PPP and PML-N but are potential electables and likely to put up a tough contest.
For NA-178, the PTI has awarded ticket to Mian Sajid Naeem Qureshi, brother of former state minister Engineer Shahid Jameel Qureshi. Sajid had first applied for a PML-N ticket but after refusal moved to the PPP that gave him the ticket since its former MNA Jamshed Dasti had announced to leave the party.
His stint with the PPP was just six days old when PML-N disappointed Nawab Iftikhar Ahmed Khan also who turned to former prime minister Yousaf Raza Gilani. The PPP welcomed Iftikhar with open arms since Gilani had visited Said Nagar and at a meeting celebrated the Nawab family`s joining of the PPP.
Resultantly, Sajid Naeem was refused the ticket that lefthim nowhere. He contacted the PTI and with the blessings of Nawabzada Mansoor Khan, the eldest son of Nawabzada Nasrullah Khan, got the ticket for NA-178. This would be the fist time Qureshi and Nawab are contesting elections for the same party.
Nawabzada Mansoor, who is contesting for PP-256 and NA179, has a considerable vote bank in NA-178 and the Qureshi family has a strong hold in the rural union councils.
The PTI awarded the ticket for PP-254 to Sardar Abdul Hayee Dasti, who is the nephew of former Punjab minister late Sardar Amjad Hameed Dasti. He had also applied for a PML-N ticket and had been tipped as the likely candidate of the party for the last three years but was refused at the eleventh hour. He then contacted Nawab Mansoor and got the PTI ticket. Now, Sajid Qureshi for NA-178 and Nawab Mansoor and Hayee Dasti for PP-256 and PP-254, respectively have emerged as a strong group.Hayee contested the 2008 elections for PP254 as an independent candi-date but lost to the PPP`s Irshad Sial. However, he won from all Muzaffargarh city union councils. He is being seen as a tough competitor for the PML-N candidate for PP-254, Hammad Tipu, who is a newcomer. Tipu was awarded the ticket for being a committed PML-N worker. The DastiQureshi combination in PP254 is also worrisome for the PPP`s Irshad Sial who is concentrating on rural areas of the constituency.
The PTI has awarded ticket for PP-255 to former union council nazim Iqbal Pittafi.
He would be facing PPP`s Nawazish Qalandrani, PMLN`s Farooq Khar and Jamshed Dasti-backed Alamdar Husain Qureshi.
However, for NA-177, the PTI is still undecided between Mian Zulfiqar Ali Qureshi and Rana Mahboob Akhtar and a final decision is likely on April 16 (tomorrow).
The party has fielded Shahid Mustafa Qureshi for PP-252.
The PTI had already announced Nawab Mansoor Khan for NA-179 and Jameel Bukhari, a former PML-N MNA, for NA-180.

Good Candidates by PTI.
Giving clear choice to people of Pakistan!!!!
shireen Maari has been appointed the new secretary information in SM's place.^^
Shafqat Mehmood is a good choice... You don't Want Mehmood ur Rasheed ex Jamtia competing against another JI leader Liaqaut Baloch + a conservative candidate from PMLN...
I hate him for his incompetence in handling Media cell but this is a good decision... he can win over the Libidos![]()
PML N are not going to win 100 seats...
why are PTI supporters' opinions always swinging like a pendulum?
its either we are sweeping the elections or campaign is a disaster
thora hosla rakho for God's sake.
Why is that you have an opinion about anything and everything PTI and its supporters do? lol
There is nothing wrong with constructive criticism. if a supporter feels that something is not being done well he/she has a right to criticize. That's democracy.
And last but not the least Pakistani is a jazbaati qaum anyway. Someone who follows cricket and posts on a forum shouldn't be asking this. One match we have threads like Umar Gul is Awesome and next match we will bump up threads like Gul is awful. That's how we are.
the future of Pakistan depends on this election campaign bhai. The excitement/anxiousness is understandable![]()
acting like a wrist-slitting emo is hardly constructive, just makes one looks like an idiot.
lol, think you are overreacting a tad.
future of Pakistan will be fine as long as its people are the ones deciding it.

PTI have weak candidates in Muzaffargarh ....PTI should offer Jamshed Dasti to join PTI ..
