don't froget whenever the a batsmen gets into the slog mode there is always a chance of getting him out
 
No matter what everyone says about Inzi's captaincy, I have to say he almost always makes the right bowling changes. I critisism for Younis is that he has really, really underused Afridi who plays more as a bowler than a batter.

another from a long hop and followed by a no ball
 
Arrrrrrrrr! when Kaneria is getting hit around and Razaq is bowling well, younis gets razaq out of the attack and keeps Kaneria in so he gets hit even more. Arrrrrrrrrr!
 
Well I wouldn't say he sucks, he is having a bad game.
 
AFRIDI HAS TAKEN MORE WICKETS THAN ANY OTHER BOWLER WE HAVE, AND THAT TO THE BIGGEST WICKETS WINDIES HAVE AND HAS BEEN THE BOWLED THE LEAST OVERS, WHY??????????
 
Whats Younis doing, letting them make as many as they want so he can make sure we loose???
 
Rameez is saying Pakistan has the same type of medium pacers with not striking ability. He is right. None of them is threatening to do anything, just going through the motions.

WI have 6 left hand batsmen and leg spinners are ineffective against them.

But remember, bowlers need runs to play with and we have none.

This game is over!!!!!!!!
 
Hinds gone as luch is called, Windies will probably declare once they reach 500-550

that is a bit too optmisitc, lets face it, we lost this test and will be laughing stock for a while.
 
well WI have nt gotten 20 wickets in a test for the past 3 yrs now

does this make any one feel lighter

agree, last time he scored a double century when almost everyone in pak cricket was calling for his head after an abysmal performance in the first test...

Inshallah the same trait will follow here...
 
Will we see a afridi 141 again after so many years??? He did help us win the match in India with his 141!

Did u guys see afridi's last over before luch. he was talking to hinds a lot. + he threw another bouncer to hinds!!!

Realistically Pak have no chance to save the game and should make about 250 in second innings.

another 5 runs and we will probably see the declaration, man its the first time i've seen the windies dominate like this.
 
Well there's a first time for everything..

And I dont think they will declare so soon...they probably will wait to get all out, because they will still have more than enough time to get pak all out.
 
we seriously need a better pace attack fo the next test match.. bringing back Shoaib would not be a bad idea, even if he's not at his quickest. He gives us a psychological edge over the opposition batsmen. Lara will definitely be wary of another bouncer. I think the management has to make this bold move for the next test, and our batting should automatically look better with Inzi in the middle order.
 
unbelivable how one man makes the difference, for the windies its undoutably Lara, when he performs so does the rest of the team and for Pakistan its Inzi. Any of these men absent and the team will crumble as we saw with the windies in the odi's and now with the Pakistanis in the test matches
 
meaning it maybe good for us????

Afridi needs to get his first double century today...and that too in quick time....

You see thats what I admire about Australia, yes they have greats but on the whole they win as a team, in the absence of a major player someone else will step up and make the major players absence feel almost unnoticed. That is why they won't struggle in the future. I feel once Inzi and Yoyo retire Pakistan will seriouly need to rebuild and I haven't seen anyone of their class as of yet in Pakistan.

There is the main problem....there suddenly seems to be a quality gap between the 90's and today...

even when players like waqar younis and wasim played their initial test matches, they looked far better than any debut/young player we have had in the last 2 years

Shayan, yes it would be great to have someone of his pace on the team but to be honest, when the going gets tough like for instance today, I think he would be sitting in the dressing rooms with some sort of injury.
 
Shayan, i agree, i'm very firm believer in pace.

I'd have played Akhar, Sami, Yasir Ali and Irshad together

Irshaad should have been called up but not sure about Yasir Arafat from what I have seen off him. Hasn't really done much for Scotland either in the odi national league in england.

Pity also we havent got many batsman with a good technique especially playing a seaming/moving ball.
We should have had Hassan Razza in the squad.
 
lol, yeah but really if we are even to draw then Afridi has to be a little sensible this time round.

I agree that the player we are looking for is Hasan Raza, I was a bit shocked to hear Bazid chosen ahead of him but seriously Hasan desrves a chance, even Steve Waugh said on the tour of Australia.
 
I think the west indians want to marr us so bad psycologically, that we totally screw up our second innings, making their victory all the more sweeter.
