That's T20 way of measuring KPI - bigger disappointment is that on this absolute belter & against sub-standard attack, none so far has crossed 50, and there are 3 innings of 41, 21 & 47 from top 4 ........... 300+ total doesn't happen with 5 batsmen hitting run a ball 45. One of the top 4 had to make a 100, be it at 75 SR, & 3 of them had the start.
 
I havent been too impressed by Nawaz so far apart from those 2 consecutive wickets against Zalmi

So? Most of his excellent domestic performances have come while opening and he should replace Shehzad in ODIs and T20s as opener. Youre supposed to give a good young batsman a chance.

Umpires changed the ball, but nothing like Ehsan did something to it.

IDK what you guys are talking about. Pakistan has rarely ever been at 200 with 10 overs to go.

This batting performance has been better than Pakistan's batting performance in ODIs over the last 4-5 years.

Babar is fine at 3 or 4 at least for now. Fakhar should be tried as opener.
 
I am really surprised, on paper Balochistan looks far more stronger than Punjab. Punjabs bowling looks very weak.

Also, Shahid Yousuf is a batsman who should be seriously considered for selection. Very good bat who has been playing for a very long time. Hope Inzi is watching him bat.
 
Baluchistan need around 240. They have a decent bowling attack but this is going to be a test of Azhar's captaincy.

On this turning wicket the spin combination of Usama, Nawaz and Azhar can bring a surprise.
 
Baluchistan have better bowling attack than Punjab. I believe 220-230 could be par score on this wicket.
 
Zulfiqar Babar is getting better and better with age. :misbah

He should get another chance.
 
Balochistan will be needing early wickets to make this match interesting. Otherwise i think it will be one sided match.

Getting to 240 seems like a big ask with two tailenders at the crease.

If only Babar and Umar did not have brain farts and Shahid Yousuf wasnt so selfish about his fifty
 
This gyu yamin has bowled very well... Right on target from the start , use of wide crease angle, moved the baill too
Now it depends how he bats if can hit some big shots then he should be in team , better than ahmad butt

He should have been in the world T20 squad. A very handy allrounder.

Depends upon his batting that how does he bat anyways is he a top order or middle order batsman?
 
From the Punjab side I want Rizwan, Aamer and Saif to do well and hopefully Salman Butt gets a first ball duck or is completely humiliated by the bowling.

It's a structural issue. Pakistani youngsters do not look to score on but instead gift their wickets after a nice 40 or 50.
 
Such a pathetic status of batting - all out with 4 overs to spare. Punjab should win it comfortably. Also, this is I guess 3:30 PM start, Punjab is probably batting under dew already.

The loser of this match 'll find it really tough to make the cut.
