Some long handle slaps needed here!

196/8 with 11 balls to go...

Well this is indeed a poor Pakistan team. Some players need to go.

Pakistan 9 down and could be short of 200 here... Arafat needs to hog the strike here!

tanvir basically wasted the powerplay. he should have given the srike to arafat instead of trying to be wasim akram

noone is asking them to pull a bradman .... but given the stage of the innings we are at where is the intent!?

dude whats the matter with you? two overs to go and two or three wickets, fair enough, but tanvir just showed you what an injudicious mentality that fails to adapt to conditions does. looks like he was following your advice.

inning over, Ajmal does not even know how to hold the bat.. i will be very suprised he will get through the next few devileries...

ajmal must try to not lose his wicket and give arafat the strike

ajmal's cleaned up.. five for bollinger.

We've given another kid a great start to his career.

Bollinger has 5. Ajmal bowled first ball.

Pakistan bowled out before they played their 50 overs.

Poor batting.

:)) spot on Salman

Aussies need 198 to win, pathetic batting from pakistan again!

well bowled bolly though!

Arafat is pathetic!! takes a single and gives the strike to Ajmal who can't bat to save his life and he gets cleaned up .... wow you guys were right .... what a sensible player he is!!!

Trust the Pakistani team to give an opposition fast bowler 5 wickets on a flat batting track. I totally sympathize with the Pakistani bowlers, they have been up against efficient Aussie batters while the Aussie bowlers should consider themselves lucky to be up against a usual inefficient batting line up.

Why would Arafat take a single on the very first ball after Akhtar gets out? Who said this guy has brain?

STAT ALERT: All Bollinger's 5 wkts have been players who's first name begins with an 'S'

Scoring runs is difficult, atleast he is a lot more sensible than Tanvir who had the audacity to play the same pathetic shot again after being given a let off.

YOU WERE SAYING???

and i have been proved right!

for all those critical monkeys on this site...if you had any clue about cricket you would see that this was not the type of wicket to hit out on...

We will see how difficult it really is to bat once the Aussies chase

Because every run is crucial, even one run can turn out to be the difference between a win and a defeat. The big shots havent been easy on this wicket.

ajmal had three balls to block out and the final over was then with arafat to face...

anyone would tell you that batting out 50 overs is a must...ajmal had just three balls to keep out.

so our habit of making an ordinary bowler extraordinary continues as bollinger picks up 5 for.... ridiculous!!

But does Arafat not know about Ajmal's batting? If PPers can see how crap is Ajmal's batting, Arafat should know better as he is a team-mate. The point was somebody said Arafat has brain. A man with brain would not do that.

Expect the Aussies to play sensibly, play the slower balls all the ground after having done their homework and research and overall play disciplined cricket. Apparently this is not very easy for Pakistani batters to replicate. Seriously Inti needs to be grilled for his entire role as coach.

ok boys, lets focus on the bowling now. This is our strength. We have never been a consistently good batting side. Gone are the days when we could get 100 off the last ten overs.

come Shoiaby, afridi and co....blast these ozzies out.

Great spell from Bolly. Fifer in his second match!

if some commentator said it it might come out as "Bollinger dismisses 5 @sses"

Afridi has answered his critics in a pretty emphatic way, great series so far. Been easily Pakistan's best player.

I don't think this total is as bad as some on here think, not going to be that easy to get. Pakistan still have a class bowling attack. Yes it is weaker these days but so is Australia.

It's going to be tough to get the runs. People have gotten so used to 300+ scores these days.

Efficient Aussie batters? What are you on about? Our batting collapsed in the first ODI!

Pakistan really need Akhtar & Tanvir to pick up wickets with the new ball, we know afridi will be economical with the ball he just needs support from the others.. good luck to pakistan!

also cricinfo say 197 is not to bad of an score?? 220 an really good score on this pitch???

Bollinger was good as usual...

very low target..

Pakistanis are favorites for defeat..

PAK defeated by Young Aussies... thanks to poor mind set.....

Not so soon, my friend.

If Bolly got 5, I'm expecting Akhtar and Gul to do some damage to our top order

Your just being kind OZGOD. Our batsmen are terrible, they make anyone look like a world beater.

Bollinger was swinging the ball, so if Akhtar and Tanvir [swing specialist apparently] can do that - we can do some damage.

Then Afridi will come on and scare the middle order by using his face [and bowling arm with ball inserted into hand].

Gul aint playing today buddy... but Akhtar has to at his best if Pakistan wants to win...

Indeed all pacers have to bring the best of their efforts, i doubt that spinners would be able to do any miracle if pacers perform bad...

or

Unless and until Afridi hits a six again with the ball... but thats highly unprobable..
