I had doubts on anderson selection before the test match ...because he cant bowl in these conditions consistently

England will surely miss monty panesar

Almost A Boundary Every Over.. Good Stuff!
putting away the bad ball as they're starting to get used to the english seamers.

We didn't let this happen so much (even though our pacers didn't bowl great, cheema was ok but is capable of better, Gul not so apart from some of the opening overs) as we were able to switch to our spinners not letting england settle.

Think england will play two spinners next match.

Salam everyone. Just woken up to see the openers still in. Has it been all smooth sailing or have there been any close chances?

RT @cricketicc: Excluding the forfeited game at The Oval in 2006, England has won only 1 Test in the last 20 years when making less than 200 in the 1st ings

I like it

Walaikum salam

its been a smooth sailing for hafeez and now taufeeq middling it as well

These two are looking really good out there. openers even looking good against the good balls by the english bowlers.

Pakistani openers have started day 2 morning very positively no hiccups as of now..

People used to complain how Pakistan always had low run rates and strike rates in tests whilst England, Australia and South Africa have higher run rates in tests. But now they should realise that even England managed a run rate of only 2.6 in their innings and Pakistan's is above 3 at the moment. These may be flat pitches but they are slow so hard to score quickly on.

very good. will be surprised if one of them at least doesn't score well.

Broad and anderson are bowling pretty well though, it's a good thing we're batting well or we might be in trouble. We're pretty comfortable though.

where's chacha cricket? he was seen last in the PTI Tsunami. Time for him to go to Dubai and cheer the team. Insaftak, is our PTI Tsunami symbol will be in stadium or not?

^ they were a bit lucky to be honest. A hand full of edges so far.
edges weren't really catchable though, due to the way they were hitting the ball even when they were edging. Down to the ground and safe.

My thought, although these pitches are easy but its hard to quick score here.
