I heard he had action issues back then, but he had sorted them out, but not sure if his action would meet current protocols. They should try bowling a few overs from him.

Btw Shehzad and U.Akmal bowled regularly at U19 level too...

Only challenge is that new ball doesn't make it 45/3 again - but there are 2 effective changes in the lineup, it'll be tough for ENG with their attack.

i think when fit, Imad Wasim would probably be a better choice than Iftikhar, but considering he's injured, Iftikhar is probably one of the better alternatives.

He did score a 90 odd vs England, but that was on a dead Sharjah pitch and I think he was dropped a few times.

I've seen him bat, and he doesn't give me much confidence. But this was about 4-5 months ago. I hope he has improved. Personally I would have gone for M.Nawaz.
