These two must take us to 200. Asad don't think will score big this innings. Maybe a 30 or 40.

Not sure about Sarfraz, but Shafiq definitely yes, he's the last batsman you can count on in tough situation, and his performances of late aren't impressive either, one good innings per series.

Hmmm. Yeah and the carry to wicket keeper is good. Pitch looks good.We playgd bad shots but this pitc much much better for cricket than abu dhabi

Malik was unlucky today. Middled it but was a great catch.
it is so annoying for fast bowler to see misbah playing that defensive shot![]()
no feet movement no body movement... just put ur bat forward to block it like he is bowling at 30 MPH
King totally negated Mitchell Johnson and his fear using his solid defence. Nothing's more demoralizing for a fast bowler.
Just saw Malik's wicket. Well not much his fault i guess. The fielder was sharp.
That's what happens when you spend more time on Twitter, than on practicing short pitched stuff.
Malik is the batting version of Mohammad Sami, once he gets under pressure, he collapses mentally.

did Malik slapped you or something ??? read your posts utter crying without much logic.
100 in SA from 28-4.
100 in SL drawing the test.
100 in SL adding over 100 with the tail this year in Aug.
100 vs SA trying to save the test in Dubai.
He has his problems but he has played some true gems in there. Certainly no mug under pressure. A lot better than Misbah in such situations. Case in point the tour to SA, three tours of SL.
Well Malik comfortably timed the ball well but got the direction wrong. That's what happens when you spend more time on Twitter, than on practicing short pitched stuff.

Younis has been surprisingly courageous against pace in this innings. Hasn't chickened out like he usually does.
He will have to get a big one here for us to establish a substantial first innings score.
We have been exposed in this series. Congratulations to England.
Our best hope is to draw this series now. Lol at people suggesting that we are a top 3 Test team.
We are comfortably below SA, NZ and England - the top 3 Test teams.

Lol. I suggest he must be using twitter while batting.Yea just like a well timed retweet![]()

Yes, Exposed.
When Malik is getting a double and Hafeez a hundred.
And its not like any of those teams have ever drawn or lost a game at home. A test we played without Azhar and Yasir.
Its England's best hope to draw the series not Pakistan's.

Where are the people who said 'Clouderson' will average 40 in the UAE? Some of our fans have shown a lot of arrogance prior to this series and now have feet in their mouths.
Yes we trounced Australia but failed to beat NZ after that, and we should be looking at that series not the Australian one.
It is a shame how our so-called senior and star batsmen look amateurish against pace.
3 Wickets down and we exposed![]()

have no idea what you mean, pak are lookign solid and hard to beat
Too small a sample size to judge a player's credibility to handle pressure in tough situations, his failures outweigh his achievements, besides his last innings century against Kiwis in a losing cause I've never seen him in assertive mode imposing himself on bowlers. He's a very timid, meek and reserved character never taking the initiative to step on the accelerator irrespective of his score or stay on the crease. To top that off he's the worst possible starter in our lineup, more so than YK.
I think people confuse amateur with ugly. Younis is not that good against pace but misbah (esp a few years ago) was good against pace. The reason is he plays the ball late. He looks ugly but he has his ways
So four tons for a no.6 is not enough to determine his credentials under pressure.
But some faliures are??
Like I said he has his problems but in no way is he a dud in pressure situations.
Being assertive and dominant are totally different things. True, he hasnt shown any of those attributes.
Slap*
Doesn't he spend retweeting posts on twitter most of the time. Reading and commenting on articles about him. Saw Younis Khan today, early morning he was practicing on short pitched stuff. That is committment for you.

Our success in the UAE is overrated. The 3-0 whitewash of England in 2012 was freakish because it was a very competitive series, and we have failed to beat South Africa, New Zealand and nearly lost a series to Sri Lanka.
Australia are hopeless in these conditions.
NZ and England are the most competitive teams away from home after SA and we are struggling to get the better of them.
and what is the problem with those who re-tweet posts on twitter ??? he is scoring runs getting wickets winning matches for Pakistan I really dont mind him re-tweeting as many tweets as he like if he continue with his good cricket form.
May be Younis got time to practice after planning his next captaincy dream and ODI comeback, but dont blame Malik for this.
And escaped the first Test by a whisker.
Really? Barely got away with it in Abu Dhabi and are now 100/3.
Neither can dominate pace and are uncomfortable.
So NZ, SA and Eng havent had such situations in their home conditions??
Forgot what SL did in Eng??
Regarding this series, still two tests to go. And I havent seen anything to suggest that we wont get the better of Eng over the course of these two tests.
