where is Afridi when you need some good sledging .... they should have given NEL a mouthful ....
 
Well not too much damage is done. We should hope to close the day with at least a 70 run lead

Naved to Nel, out Bowled!! Naved fires it in full on the stumps, reversing into the right hander sharply, Nel does not manage an inside edge on that occasion, misses it, the stumps go cartwheeling, Naved strikes!!!

WHY couldn't he bowl like this earlier????

he also says Prince was PLUMB on 97....

The last two decsions against Pakistan were shocking. I just don't understand how the umpires could get them wrong.

what on earth are you rambling on about. Go check the scorecard and see how many overs Asif has bowled. He cant bowl all day you know !
 
if Dani could field he would have had a c/b chance just now... but he didnt even move after he bowled...

Asif will have Pollock this over. Attacking a paceman who is bowling a tight line is so hard to do.

Asif bowled superbly for a man who has been out of action for a while. Shame the support to him was not better.
 
Well there are about 45 overs remaining in the day. I expect a lead of 50 at stumps.
 
Well bowled Asif and good fight back by Pakistan. We need to score a minimum of 300 now to stand any chance of winning this match.

If we hadn't had to get 15 South African wickets before bowling them out (thanks to the thick umpires) we would have been in a far better position.

We will be 130-135 by close..........hopefully no more than 2 down.

Well I said lead of 50 ecause that would mean we would be around 150-155 at 3 an over

But we should bat a bit faster like at 3.5 so 175 shouldnt be a problem

Actually a lead of 220 should give us more than a chance. Kaneria will play a big part in the second innings.
 
Pakistan realistically will hope to set around 220 at least, which means they will have to bat really well.
 
Let´s see if Pakistani batsmen have learned from their mistakes and ducking instead of pulling on every short delivery
 
An inside edge grants Farhat his first runs.
