Come on Azhar. Hope he can bat till end of the day.

Need YK,Misbah,Azhar & Shafiq to bat as many overs as possible.
 
I think these two should have batted for as long as they could because:
- Come tests, they will need all this practice time with them to survive SA fast bowlers
- Ticks most/all PPers off
- Keeps the Phaast Bowlers Fresh
- No Misbah out there, No Tuk Tuk

well played professor !!! good thing he got out though, need to give other people time at the crease
 
Azhar is a brilliant batsmen. He just needs to stay at the wicket and not be overly defensive.
 
Asad should be promoted up the order as he is the most inexperienced and needs to bat as long as possible.
 
The Tuk Tuk begins when will he learn that this will not work in SA he at least needs to rotate the strike.

Are you talking about Hafeez and Nasir?

In my opinion both should have retired out after reaching fifities (thoug Nasir fell for 51) because you have to give time to Azhar, Younis, Asad and Misbah in the middle.

Anyways both are out, now Azhar and Younis shold spend some time at the crease before Asad and Misbah enter.
 
Some of the posters are bashing junaid khan?
It's a warm-up match , for god sake !!

Misbah and Azhar will struggle the most in SA.

Tuk tuk will not work in these conditions.
 
Two failures for Azhar Ali, rotation of the strike seems to be the problem.

Azhar gone he will fail if he does not rotate the strike and keeps on blocking deliveries.

When in doubt hit out....when in doubt continue to block and get out!!!
 
Misbah needs to be positive and look to rotate strike otherwise a delivery will get him out. The good ball will come if you allow bowlers to get on top of you.

The bulk of the runs are going to come in the same way as last innings; the openers, and the wicket keeper/tail enders.
 
Younus blocks out an over.
But seeing it's Younus i won't be much worried as he mostly blocks out good balls.
 
Well hope azhar delivers in tests and hope jamsheed and hafeez carry on this form in tests. Let 1st February come. We await its arrival.

The critics should have stuffed socks on their mouths after the indian series. He was devastating and taking out the top order. If they arent silent after this then they will never be silent.
 
Mohammad Akram talked about taking this match seriously but some PPers are taking it way too seriously.
 
Interesting stat: Right at this moment in time, Misbah averages 0.02 more than YK in first class cricket.

ODI and T20 .. very bad thinking

Test. good thinking. Its called putting the bad bowl away and waiting for it. Cmon yaar its like people have slowly forgotten test cricket.
 
26 overs left today, i think we should declare after playing 40 more overs that will give our bowlers 70 overs to dismiss S.A inv XI

He will bounce back. before the England series he was bad at domestic too but he scored in international matches. It has happened before. Dont worry i have complete confidence in him.
