Nope no chance he will even make it to the Indian bench, sad as it seems as he is very talented. Badrinath is the Asim Kamal of India both very talented only Asim played a few games but Badrinath may never play one.

Congrats Romali for a most impressive performance. Srilanka had no answer for Sehwag and Bhajji. Bhajji has really played well after a long time, and Sehwag is well, Sehwag.

While this win will make the critics (including me :) )quiet for some time, there is no denying the fact that Indian team needs an overhaul sooner rather than later. Many of the senior players will have to think hard and make tough decisions because impressive as the win today was, this Indian team has an old look to it.

I wonder if Ganguly and Dravid etc have it in them to make the right decision for India, rising above personal career considerations. It will be interesting to see how the immediate future unfolds.

As for today, well played India. :)

Well played India and a well deserved win. This makes the final test match very interesting!

My suggestions:
Karthik - MUST be dropped, there has to be a better keeper and batsmen...
RP - get him in for ZAK

why should you drop zak ,he is just coming back from injury and getting
to his best and he has the wood on kumar sangakara, srilanka best batsman so thats a no brainer.

in tests it does not matter how good your fielding abilities are or the
dives which most fielders do for the cameras,it comes to nothing
when you face quality bowlers away form home.

,dravid is a team man he will quit when he feels right, ganguly
just won the last test match against south africa .

sehwag and bhajji won this match for india especially the indian bowling as Sri Lanka's batting just didnt perform in both iinings.

Well done India on a great bounce back

well done India, congrats to all fans!!!

Viru was the right choice for MOM. This has to be his best 200 ever. Ishant, Zak and Bhaji were brilliant. Those who feel Ishant got lucky or fluky havent seen the match, because he was bending his back and getting that ball to talk. It was Perth all over again briefly. The lankans had to be tentative against him, otherwise they would have ended up giving him a 6 wkts haul and making a good 50 runs less.

this match was all Sehwag from my point of view... I think the Sri lankan think tank need to sit together and figure otu a way to get Sehwag out early in the next test match...

A great win for India. Sehwag played brilliant as did Bhajji. India now have the momentum going into the final test.

^^ whoever bats first in the next test match will win... that seems to be the way it's always been...

Sick thing about Sehwag's knock was that Mendis leaked 60% of his total runs just to Sehwag. He smacked Mendis for 70 of 77 balls. All the other 9 batsman contributed to the 47 runs that Mendis leaked. So if Sehwag had gotten out early Mendis would have had another ridiculous 6/47 or some other nonsense like that

Series has been set up nicely after indias fightback. Worry for sri lanka is indias middle order hasnt fired and there new ball attack looks pop-gun like! Sri lankas seamers have 2 take earlt wickets to help spinners!

Congrats to india on win though!

yup they require wickets early on in the innings... or atleast someone who can freeze the runs at the top and add early pressure on sehwag...
