If anyone wants to watch live stream. Go on cricket.com.au or download the cricket australia app.

When I go on cricket.com.au and click on the livestream it just says that I can't due to my location.

Iftikar is not the right choice in this format , Pakistan should have got a seam bowling all rounder

Why is Babar at 6. He batted at 6 in South Africa and ended up batting with the tail most times.

Ifti should be at 6, Babar at 4 and Asad at 5.

Will he come out at 6 though? Maybe they switch it around being a practice game depending on how the top 3 go?

SOme people say short bowlers can't be successful in Australia. What about Jhye Richardson. He is 178 cm (5'9")

Azhar hasn't learned in a decade. YOU DON'T PLAY A STRAIGHT ONE SQUARE ON THE LEG SIDE IN AUSTRALIA UNLESS YOU ARE STEVE SMITH.

Why does it say Khan instead of Shan or Masood. They probably didn't know his name and thought of the most known Muslim surname in the subcontinent and called him Khan.

Shan Masood is way to timid of a batsman to play in Australia. He needs to play his shots and can’t just hang out his bat

One of the keys to batting is just watchong the ball closely all the way. It seems like many Pakistani batsmen aren't doing that. Watching the ball closely can make batting so much easier, things like picking up the line and length early, swing, watching it out of the hand.

A test eleven of Misbah’s. They are waiting for the spinners I guess

He played well last time. Here he played like Misbah did in 2016: trying to get on top of the bounce and and shoveling everything to leg side

Let's hope he doesn't make the same mistake again. He has played here before, he should know what not to do.

Looks like Azhar will open in Test as well - it's probably better. Also, Haris at 3 means, instead of Abid, they'll play Iftekhar - this one probably not good.

They will be bouncing him as well.

Starc, Cummins and Hazlewood will show no mercy against an ageing Asian opener who is losing his reflexed. We all saw Azhar's ability against the short ball against South Africa, this tour may well be the end of Azhar's career.

Finally a good shot from Shan

Still struggling though. Good bowling and the pitch is lively, also swing on offer.

First observation - PAK has to increase scoring rate in AUS. First 4-5 overs are understandable, but by 10th over RR has to reach close to 3 - wickets will fall there and it will fell in numbers with 2nd ball, therefore teams must target at least 260 by 80th over. It's probably better to get all out for 256 inside 80 overs, rather than reaching 203-5 after 80.

This is the Day/Night dress rehearsal for Adelaide.

I think I'd have liked to see the batsmen show a lot more intent, because at Adelaide you have to declare at Dinner. FAF went on an hour too long and it cost him dearly.

After 12 overs in the Adelaide Pink Ball Greentop you need to be on 50 runs. Because you want to be up to 100 at the Tea break and then declare at Dinner as close to 250 as you can get.

If you can bowl the hour after Dinner with a new ball you should take 5 or 6 wickets. So 250-6 declared can then reduce the opposition to 40-5 at Drinks and 80-8 by the close.

Azhar Ali's wicket.

Commentators hyping up Naseem. Claims to have seen Naseem bowl. Saying he is lightning, swings it, aggressive. Bowls like the 80s bowlers, like Dennis Lillee. Up in your face all the time.

Haris really has to learn how to play the short ball. He is class as long as it is away from his ribs and head.

Haris has been decent

He would have been good if he watched the ball when it is pitched short. He just turns his head and ducks. That is dangerous and bad to watch. Just watch it all the way past your eyes or get under it.

Meredith looks quick. Haris needs to get his front foot across when driving outside off.

And Haris doesn't move his foot across while trying to hit a cover drive and nicks it.

That is poor footwork from Haris, you can't chase the ball like that in test cricket, especially on a pitch like this.

Haris shouldn't play 1st Test for that execution of shot (ball was there to be hit, no issues, but not with planted feet like that) - guy was given no. 3 spot!!!!!!!

Aaaaaand the good looking Haris Sohail departs for 18(24). PAK 2-47. 15.5 overs. Caught behind. c Carey b Meredith.

Asad Shafiq is in.

Haris’ lapses in concentration are getting very frustrating.

It's not even a lapse in concentration, it's just poor technique, no footwork. He played the same shot 2 times earlier in the same over and played and missed. The third time he nicked it.

Azhar Ali's wicket.

Arguably high

Misbah is Awful

Abid Ali should play, better back foot player

Lazy elegance may work in other parts of the world, but not on a quick pitch.

There's nothing remotely elegant about throwing the bat at a still new-ish swinging ball with your feet a good metre away from the ball, on any pitch anywhere in the world

The A team are going to come very hard at Pakistan, this isn't a warm up. All these players are fighting for a spot in the Aussie test team.

Which is why it is called lazy. I didn't come up with that name. It's how many people describe his batting.

But, that shuffle was horrible - he was given out for that shot, leg stick was seen!!!!

Terrible shot for sure, and since it's a warm up not overly concerned, hopefully it knocks some sense in Azhar to not be swiping across the line in Australia

Yup this isn’t picnic for them, all seamers want the 3rd seamer spot. It isn’t exactly vacant but it is not fully secured by Starc or Pattinson

He'll play Azhar at 3 - this was trailer. Abid won't debut at Gabba. This is probably a FC game, therefore only 11 will play and Abid isn't in the list - awful indeed.
