I have a feeling Aussies will blow Indian away. Although its a golden chance for India to make it 1-1. Can Aussies allow them to make it 1-1. Hazelwood will be key for Aussies he can run india over with his accuracy.

Aus slip catching behind the stumps been pretty poor. India on top here at the moment

Indian fielding at slips is one of the best in the world. India is far ahead in terms of fielding standards. Something Pakistan can from our arch rivals.

Wow! Cummins cranking close to 150k with ample seam movement! Batsman need all the luck they can get here...Gill doing the right thing, going for runs when he can..

Its top level of counter-attacking from Gill. That's how you get the runs. If you be like Pujara, you will be more assured but not add enough runs on board in enough time.

Gill is a poor mans Sehwag.

Even after all those lives he still gives it away.

Deserved that wicket Cummins! As for Gill, that's how he plays, always looking for runs which will be his downfall occasionally against the highest quality of bowlers

His techinique is fine, just stays slightly inside the line to the ball which he could rectify. Against this attack on a bowling day such as today, name a batsman who won't play n miss?

We will be all out under 100. We are a mediocre team. We are not good enough.

Don't think so, they will at least get close to Aus 1st innings total. India are not mediocre, they are goat home bullies afterall :inti

Pat Cummins is a world class bowler. He is seriously underrated by some posters on here.

Anyone else get the impression Pujara has been trying to leave the ball so much that he ends up playing almost inside the line?

If you compare that to someone like Kane Williamson, who is standing on middle and off and then shuffles further, Pujara seems to prefer to stand on middle and leg and prefers to leave with an understanding of his off-stump. Whereas Kane knows that he only needs to play things aimed at his body.

Pujara seems to have edged two deliveries which straightened very little and almost kept travelling towards him until the post-edge deflection. Have only seen each dismissal in real time once so correct me if I am missing something.

There is no reward for being a goat home bullies in Australia..:inti

This is perhaps the worst batting line up India ever played in a test match. You can go back upto Vinoo Mankad's team if you want but this is the worst I have seen.

Agarwal - Poor technique
Gill - Decent but on debut
Pujara - Most overhyped
Rahane - A bit rich man's Asad Shafiq
Vihari - Horrible
Pant - Lol

Rest is tail.

I can gurantee that If India need to chase even 100 runs in 4th innings...they will fail.

We need to move on from both Pujara and Rahane from next England series and build a team around youngsters.

Such an Aman ki Asha message. Love you, hamkhayal (like-minded) neighbour ;)

The game is still on here , India still ahead in the game

Rana probably thinks Dilbar would have outperformed Cummins here.

LOL at these Indians, we give them a flat track, we drop catches and they still can't do anything hahaha.

Pujara has been pretty average since the epic Australia series. You can't keep on defending against this attack, it is relentless. Babar showed that you have play your shots against this great bowling attack, look to dominate.

That had been coming for Australia, and particularly for Shubman Gill. The Indian opener was dropped twice in his innings, and played 26% false shots - the average for all Test cricket is 15%. #AUSvIND

Pat Cummins is a world class bowler. He is seriously underrated by some posters on here.

You are mixing up formats...no one doubts Cummins the test bowler, he's the best pacer IMO in tests.

But he's not as effective in T20 cricket.

You ran away from the thread yesterday after Aust failed to reach 200 again...remember? Hahahah

The only match Australia won last decade in India was all thanks to the dozens of dropped catches we gave to one of your batsman in Pune.

He has always been average in overseas conditions except that 2018 Aus series.

How good is Cummins? Once a generation bowler for me , easily best bowler in world cricket right now

Batting is poor too and it helps. Pretty sure Rahane and Vihari would be troubled by most international bowlers.
