VVD is getting back to his best form, was brilliant today again. Gomez is playing his best season so far. Matip is playing well too, along with the new kid Konsa settling in well. The midfield is strong now, along with the most lethal 5 up front. The only issue is our style of play against the weaker teams who defend with 10 men behind the ball.

Arsenal have some tough games coming up from now until Jan before the transfer window. They want Toney in January, if a few points behind City, with Toney it could be keep them in the race until May. I think Arsenal like Newcastle cannot afford injuries, the squad is too thin.

2. No this is not a Liverpool "rebuild" the vast Majority core players, spine of your team is still there. You are simply overhauling your midfield in one transfer window, because klopp neglected doing it over last 2 seasons. Every sensible football fan could see once you had a functional midfield again you would be back compering. Also the league table now is irrelevant, it's just about staying in the pack until later in season.

3. Your drop off was because you midfield had no legs, no fitness and players past their sell by date. This was for no other reason then that.

English refs are poor, as I stated previously they are overweight, unfit and clearly change their opinions game to game.

THis is the key, such incidents are opinions. If the ref gave the foul, it would be remain a foul. As he didnt, it remained a goal.

Football doesnt have black and white rules when it comes to fouls which are 50/50 challenges, its upto the ref to make his decision.

Now on top of that there are "thresholds" on so called fouls.

Fair enough, you didn't but I know some Arsenal fans have lost the plot over this decision and I've heard all sorts of absurd things such as refs have been paid by the Saudi's, corruption etc etc

The reason they have done this show (and it's not the first one) is because people asked for it, the demand was for transparency and this is part of it. I do agree with you that it would be much better if all audio was readily available soon after the matches. I would even go further and say they should do it live like they do with other sports

I don't disagree about the standards not being great. I don't believe the behaviour of managers helps, Arteta was pathetic the way he reacted, all for a goal that was perfectly legitimate. And all that does is increase the pressure on referees.

Inconsistent refereeing performances is very frustrating but I've been watching football for well over 30 years and it's always been a thing and always will be. I think the problem is people naively thinking VAR will eradicate that, it won't. We can even see with the incidents during this match, there is no absolute consensus so why expect it from referees?

Raya has been shaky in almost every game he’s played. Even though he’s Arteta’s golden boy, it’s just a matter of time before he’s demoted to his rightful place, on the bench.

What Arsenal should’ve done in the summer is bought Maddison along with Kudus. They were both signed for £40m each. Havertz alone cost Arsenal £65m.

If we had a midfield of Rice, Kudus and Maddison/Odegaard, we would have had a great chance of winning the league this season even without a proven number 9 because there would’ve been enough goals from Saka, Martinelli and Maddison.

Arteta needs to have less powers when it comes to signings. Arsenal should rather rely more on their scouting team. This is the model that Liverpool follow. Not so long ago, I was told by a Liverpool fan that before his team signed Salah, Klopp actually wanted to buy Brandt instead. There’s a reason why Liverpool’s scouts under Klopp’s reign have hardly ever got any of their scouting wrong. The ones I can think of are Oxlaide-Chamberlain and Naby Keita.

Look at Arsenal, wasted £100m on Havertz and Fabio Vieira. They’re not even worth half of that amount.
