Australia v Pakistan | 5th ODI | Adelaide | Jan 26, 2017 | Australia Innings

I said on merit, not from domestics.

Domestic players are there just to fill the team.

Now don't tell there is no talent in Pakistan.

It's the system which is atrocious.
Not the talent
The system is bad but the talent is worse.

David Warner's SINCE 5th October

Last 11 ODI innings- 117, 6, 173, 24, 119, 156, 7, 16, 35, 130, 121*

Runs- 904
Average- 90.4
Strike rate- 111.88
100s- 6

Dude has scored almost 1000 ODI runs in 3 months :warner :warner

Yeah :warner

Not even Kohli or Tendulkar have scored 6 hundreds in 11 innings, that should tell everyone how good Warner has been.

200 run opening partnership in ODIs. Pakistan's bowling has become farce. Their ODI ranking is absolutely justified

Your comment is similar to some of our fans comparing Asad Shafiq with Kohli ..

No, because Kohli actually scores runs instead of just "looking good". Are you seriously saying BK who performs everywhere is not as good as Amir

Honestly kind of excuses given for Amir are similar to what we give for ishant sharma.
How is it that he is beating the bat almost every other match but not getting much wickets.I can understand if this excuse is given for one match two matches even up to four matches. But alas he is now perennially unlucky!

Suprisingly, Wahab has been the best bowler today by a mile. People said he doesn't have a cricketing brain but it's something about Adelaide that has Wahab operating in full swing.

Travis Head has been beyond awful, but by Pakistani standards a strike rate of 75/80 is actually decent.

Wahab was always going to be better bowler in Australian conditions flat or no flat especially in limited overseas cricket.

His length is not good enough to get wickets on these pitches. when he beats the bat because of movement, he beats the bat by a long way.

Kumar has only played in Aus, Eng, WI and India.

Averages 166 in Australia.

Not to mention his average of 40 in ODI cricket.

Not that Amir is any good either.

And our first customary drop of the match goes to world class Amir. Boys trying really hard to get Australia to 400. :misbah

Lol

214-0

big score coming up

hopefully we can make more than 250

Perhaps amir thought if he will drop Warner then he will smack some little....

Lol, this is a blessing in disguise, Big Show would have come out and scored a hundred

actually .. I dont understand why mickey arthur n rixon (is that name of fielding coach?) ... are making faces and show that they are upset ..

yes players suck and they can't catch to save their lives BUT coaching staff must also be blamed .. their techniques are not working ... they need to be held to account

I remember the days when Pakistan were good at One day cricket, in fact better in ODIs than Tests.

I honestly think Bangladesh would beat them if they played a series tomorrow.

Now blame the coaches.

The role of a coach is grossly overrated on this forum.

Yes. Even his line isnt any better. His outswingers are more away from the batsman than to put batsman in real trouble. Its true overall he is not balling rubbish though.

You've failed to mention names but rather have turned to hypothetical situations to back your claim.

Ok Kabir Khan, loud mouth Mohsin or even Haroon. They may select 2-3 TTF but Inzi selects more than half

He played only 1 test in Aus and way before he re-invented himself. I am just saying the gulf between the two is definitely not like between Asad and Kohli

I sometimes get the feeling from waqar's commentary that he has enjoyed the thrashing Pakistan have received on this tour, perhaps he feels he was treated unfairly

Not sure if Warner is a beast or we are just rubbish...

Frankly speaking fielding coach should be the first one to be sacked

He should ideally resign but I dont see what fielding coaches can do about basic catching when the players get under pressure and drops dollies

A fielding coach can only do so much, and help you fine tune your skills. You don't suddenly learn the art of fielding from scratch in your mid 20s and 30s. This malaise is a much deeper problem.

If players are naturally rubbish fielders what would the poor coach do. Still they should sack him for some accountability and responsibility

Looking forward to Hasan's century with the ball. Might as well beat Wahab's 110

I don't know if you need a coach to catch that ball. 10 year old kid would catch that these days.

Yes I agree. So if they are not able to do it that means either they don't practice much or they don't have good technique...

Haven't seen much of Kumar since the Australia tour, didn't inspire me much then.

Is he faster now?

body language of these Pakistani fielders suggests that none of them want the ball to come to them.
