Pakistan 202/2 - still 313 runs behind and still a lot of hard work and graft needed till pakistan are back on even keel with england. Pakistan need to bat solidly for 2 sessions if not all day just like they did at lords, the new ball will be due just before or after lunch. Big hundred needed from Moyo and Y khan aswell as big runs from the big man Inzi.

come on pakistan fight like you did last evening! :)

If the current pair can go on teil lunch then Inshallah we have good chances of winning this test.

I think the biggets reason for Paks sucess over the last few years is these two being consistant performers.

Morning everybody. :)

Let's hope these 2 can keep going through this session and beyond and if we do lose one early then inzi to continue the pace. We need pak to bat ALL day today and get on par with england and let's see how england play under a bit of pressure. Good luck to the boyz!

More like to be Hair eating 6/7 wolves for breakfast and increasing his waist line!

Anyone have the weather forecast for today?

Are we going to get a full day in?

If Pakistan want to win by an innings then they need to score another 650 or so runs.

Another 400 might let them scrape a win.

Hmmm...

On the other hand if they want to draw then they probably only need another 260 or so and a bit of luck.

ps. Hoggy lad why can't you bowl properly against Pakistan?

Afridi would have murdered the bowling in the pitches current stare.

Asalaam alikum Wr Wb Brothers;

Cricinfo's latest update;

I'm having the first of a half-dozen cups of tea, and what a fine cup it is. Not too weak or milky and plenty of strength in depth. We're about 20 minutes away from the start of play and, in the meantime, don't forget to check out our photos of the Test. Sunday is also Almanack Day, where we pick out an essay from a past edition of The Wisden Cricketers' Almanack. Today's is a chronicle of 2005.

10.35am
A few light clouds but it’s probably the sunniest morning so far this Test. Ominously for England, it looks a fine day for the batsmen and there is no sign of the that forecast rain just yet. The pitch is being rolled at the moment, while a huddle of TV people in the middle is formed with Ian Botham, David Gower and Michael Atherton all offering their views to the camera.

Unfortunatley that is as likely as Afridi self-destructing...

Afridi is great when our team is ahead and looking to up the tempo. But when we're trailing, I would prefer a specialised batsmen. Afridi has yet to show the maturity we expect of him. It's saddening to see him get out in his usual old manner; 6, dot ball, attempted six OUT caught!

Hoggard can't bowl?

Why couldn't it be Monty or Harmison...

I think he can bowl, but Boycs suggested he'd hurt his knee a bit yesterday when he pulled up.

Saj mahmood to start opening. Hope we don't lose quick wickets, and we caan erase deficit today.

Sajid doesn't bowl well...

Well, the field is spread out, men on the boundaries, so good running is needed to make the runs tick along

He really isn't a bad bowler. Stats don't tell everything. He has a smooth action, good pace and bounce. Bretter then Liam Plunkett at least.

Hmm, he has less wickets :D

If we add another 100 runs, against him, he should get it

Thats quite possible at this stage.

Yousuf being VERY careful at this stage. Anything thats wide, but low, he's not going for it

He wants his 100 :p

I'd do the same

Hows the field negative I mean?

i am not watching the match thanks to my receiver which is not working :p

somebody above said that all the fielders are on boundries

We should score as much as we can before they get the new ball.

Moyo plz past 100 mark and feel easy

Theres always a very SLOW period for Pakistan when they are in their late 40s and mid 90s.

Majestic shot behind sqaure on the off side from Yousuf.

100 for Yousuf. Hooked for 6. MASHALLAH...what a shot to bring up the 100. Great stuff

Congratulation Mohammad Yousuf for another fine fine 100... MashAllah and he will score a double once again InshAllah!!!

Another one played fine, 3 runs.

Fantastic batting, mashAllah.
