England reach 239/6 in reply of Pakistan's first Innings total of 366 at stumps of Day 2 of the second Test

Jamal should hit out and reserve his stamina for bowling , no point in batting for long otherwise we will run out of option to pick wickets.

First you said English bowlers won't be effective here because they're not good enough and now when they pick wickets it's because PAK batters are easy

Except Naseem our pacers are useless atm. He would have reversed the ball.

They can't land the ball in good areas consistently and bowl a couple of easy scoring balls every over.
No way they are going to force mistakes from batsmen.

Our plan obviously is to hit England with spin where they are weak.
But we've definitely gone for an spinner overkill bcoz on uncertain pitches such as this a pacy fast bowlers can be very effective

Wait when they will Play against Australia and india.

Bangladesh bowlers were looks like 2nd coming of malcolm marshall against Pakistan batters

Pakistan once did this in an pdi againat Australia around 2012 in an odi

Went for 5 spinners and 1 pacer and despite playing with chuckers at the time, they git a brutal beatdown .

Regardless of format, you always need atleast 2 pacers. Plus Jamal isn't even a full time pacer. He's a bowling allrounder, not your ace gun.

This strategy by Shan and Gillespie is even worse then 2012.

Ngl I hate Shan but very very dissapointed from Gillespie, He's proven himself to be the most incompetent coach in Pakistan test.

Hasan Mahmud also bowled a good spell in India. Yes India and Australia are tough places for visiting bowlers .

But there's no reason why someone like Atkinson can't do well there.
 
Need a characteristic fighting knock from Nomi bhai. Somewhere close to 30-40 not out

No you see this is a tactic. T20 Bradman is so good that he deliberately knicked it faintly knowing full well stokes wouldn't go for it.

Please understand that rizwan is a proper psychologist. He was trying to mentally break Ben stokes by showing him that he could have had bradman dismissed but he messed up, and now bradman will make him pay by adding 35 more runs 🫠

This game is lost but if pakistan salvage a draw Soneone like Gillespie needs to tell them that they need to do the same thing that other teams did to beat England.

I don't get this obsession for pakistan trying to out bat oppositions.

Best way to beat England is to force them to bazzball when they don't have a choice. When England os bazzballing freely you're cooked, but in a situation where their forced to it's game over.

England's biggest weakness is that unlike Australia who go for the win, but if a win is not their, they will stubbornly go for a draw, England doesn't accept it, Hence batting 2.5 to 3 days causes them to panic.

But tbh, I don't think it'll work as pakistan doesn't have the respurces to bat 3 days either, even if they tuk tuk England will get rid of em

Can Amir Jamal reverse swing the ball? Pakistan hopes of winning this test match depends on his bowling. Pitch is responding more to pacers then spinners.

There is no need for Jamal to stay , just hit out mate. We don't want him to trundle with 128k pace if he bat for long.
