He was rubbish against SL, but consecutive 50s and a heap of wickets in this series so far ... Nass is just getting excited, he's shown glimpses of real promise (169 v Pak and also bucketload of wickets, Ashes etc)

ocassional 50s dont make you a genuine all rounder & when you call some one a test class allrounder he should be good enough to play at least at no7 ....am afraid , Broad will never be that good .

As I've said before, Cook's Int' career was saved with that 100 against Pakistan. He played well against a awful bowling unit in Australia and a pretty poor one in SL. He usually struggles against class bowlers. No different here.
