he has started slow today, compared to his previous three efforts. Yes, I will let the PP hype machine do the rest, but I like the fact that he came to this tournament with just 4 list A games under his belt at average of 11.5. Benefits from being in Balochistan by being given a run, as an emerging player (unlike the other teams) and also facing the better bowlers in domestic cricket.

Every other top order batsman failed there, Sahrjeel averaged 13, Hafeez averaged 7. Don't act like a stupid man, look at the bigger picuture. One day is his best format and he was not given a proper run in that format. Selectors messed up his career by selecting him for Asia cup t20.
If you are happy with Azhar, Umar and Hafeez I can't help you then, I guess you are a masochist then who is also fond of tuk-tuk style of play.

Get the coaches and selectors to notice you, show why you deserve a place in the starting XI in the CT. He's also handled the added responsibilities of captaincy well, so I like that attitude.

honest question, do you expact Khurram to play like that in international cricket? Especially given this would probably be his last chance ?

There is a reason why his career strike rate is 82.
even in this tournament he made 34 at strike rate of around 50 chasing 280, his team lost

or 27 at a strike rate of 68, the only player in his team with a strike rate below 95, his team narrowly lost

other examples are there as well

Now i get we are desperate, but there are few others I'd rather try against Bangladesh come the time.
