I think the stats shown are now evidence that this Pakistan side is not so different in its approach to scoring in the first 10 than most other sides. What England accomplish, regularly, is super human and why they have scored 300+ scores almost twice as many times as the second best side since CWC 2015.

No one has a top 5 matching Roy/Hales, Bairstow, Root, Morgan and Buttler.

But I do agree this is crunch time and the Pakistani batsmen have to score quickly. I'd much rather they were all out for say 220 off 25 overs than 270 over 50.

Main thing is they groomed these power hitters as on FC or List A averages alone most of them wouldnt have been selected, they selected the right players for modern day international cricket and then groomed them.

Agreed. Didn’t have a plan B when someone like butler goes beserk but still when u r looking Yasir to grab some wickets for u is foolish. Agree on playing a frontline spinner on this wicket but that shouldn’t be Yasir Shah who has an abysmal ODI record and has never shown any glimpses of progress in his Odi career.
