I grew up in the 90s but being a kid I did not have the understanding on these behind the door conspiracies. So on most occasions I generally thought that it was either 'The world against us' reaction or just we're not good enough but now when in retrospect I see things from a distance I clearly realize that indeed in mid to late 90s things were quite rather fishy on most occasions.
