Your double standards on show here. The highest averaging batsman from Asia overseas, in NZ/SA/Eng/Aus is Misbah. In ODIs. Yet you bash him. :)))

Now bringing a few fluke examples from ODIs to show how Shehzad is a superior batsman overseas? As I said earlier, stick to one stance.

If you want to keep believing how great Shehzad is, you're free to. I can't argue with that. I thought you've realized your mistakes on Shehzad, was wrong.

Where and How did Misbah come into this?? That is a completely different debate and is generally about his TEST RECORD which is horrendous in those countries bar NZ. Its terrible in SL too by the way.

Rather than changing goalposts stick to the dicussion at hand. Way to get off topic.

And what do you want me to bring. How he will fare in Aus or Eng, when he hasnt even played there?? Fluke or not its the only thing we have to go on.

How else do you suggest we go about the question of who is better?? And nice dodge on the the test bits by the way.

What the hell is happening!!!!!!! Were making these average spinners look good

WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

:D :D :D

Damn Malik, make it counttttt!!

Hafeez. :)))

What a way to go that was. No pateince whatsoever yet what a majestic opener.

No one will take Shehzad over him after that display.

And Missing. Thank God. Malik survives.

Leave the spinner attacking to misbah who is a beast at it. Dont throw your wicket away

Good review.

But its turning miles on day 1. Imagine day 5. :)))

Bumble has got his wish. Now be ready for a massacre on the hands of Yasir.

The way this is turning, if it deteriorates we could end up in Bangalore 1986 territory, with very low scores.

Whichever team scores on first innings will win this match. No way anyone is surviving on this minefield later

A traitorous part of me wants to see the back of Malik. His batting is so cringe-worthy.

Younis at the other end is all class, being the future-ATG that he is.

If we can have green mambas from day one, why not a turner from day one? :malik

Finally we get a proper turning pitch. Bit slow but will be a good match

Malik is unable to put bat on the ball. Even against spin. :malik

Moeen owning him so far.

I get scared when batsman cuts spinners when ball is on middle and off stump

Pakistan were never going to go in with just one pacer. It's not really earth-shattering stuff, commies.

Depends on Pak really. If they go cheaply, it will end quickly.

If the bat long and Misbah isnt going to enforce follow on, it could still go to late day 4-5.

This pitch will expose all of the fakers and frauds of batting.

Spinning miles!!!

I love it though.

What are they doing? One of those is going to stick to someone's hands and we'll be three down. This would be a bat situation to get complacent in.

Malik, Azhar should fill in for third spinner role if needed. I feel yasir will rip through the heart of English batting here.

Younis and Malik- lots of history there. Wonder if they've let go of past grudges.

What is YK doing?

He is going to give a catch to those feilders soon at this rate.

Looks like finally PAK got the belief that there is a massive gap between spin playing ability of two sides. Normally, UAE tracks don't break, bounce remains even & it gets slower. I think, there 'll be lots of turn but slow & even; it's not a Kumble special wicket. Probably, Babar will be the toughest bowler to score here - what a shot by YK.

By the way, I didn't know that in UAE as well they run out of fuel - must have mowed manually, otherwise PAK's score would have been 90/2 now.

Zulfiqar Babar should also be a nightmare on this pitch. Should get it to tail in and then turn the other way, with considerable bounce.

Azhar's legspin is very effective. Should bowl.

Rashid giving juicy full tosses just like from the first Test match.

ENG is hurrying over-rate, which tells me that they are sweating a bit regarding batting on this surface on day 3 onwards - want to get their top batsmen in by lunch tomorrow.
