I can hold an opinion if I want to?
You don't seem to get what I'm saying.
'Future ATG' Younis embarrassing himself against pace again.
Fact is they've done nothing against pacers. Not even one attacking shot. That's why wickets are falling.
Boringgggggg

Misbah's face is telling me that Misbah is retiring after this test but I hope I'm wrong.
Actually BD, the problem is somewhere else. This was the same problem last couple of years against SAF & NZ - PAK started this Test to protect 1-0, but, this time, caught off guard with the wicket.
Now, they know that it's a result wicket & forgot the 1st fundamental - you can't allow a bowler to target 1 batsman for 4/5 overs relentlessly.

Hahahhaha Malik was being crucified for shying away from fast bowlers but others have looked ominous against fast bowling. YK getting out on a straight full toss was just hilarious. Sums up his career and skills in playing fast bowling. Only Hafeez has the ciurage to take on fast bowlers as well.

No they haven't, the wicket is difficult to currently bat on and hence the lower RR.
Interesting, what do you think Cook's face is telling you ?

I've just started watching this match recently so I'm not sure about that.
Misbah needs to put away the halftrackers from Patel. Not going to be easy against seamers
No, I can prove.
The RR is 2.34, but show me which was the unplayable ball for all 4 dismissals? They are batting to be sitting duck
15'1-11-7-3 and we are saying it's a spin pitch (& bash Malik for his technique against pacers).
No, I can prove.

TBH it's 80mph trundling.
Agreed, the approach against pace is far too negative, and it will not work for Pakistan next year at all. You've gotta rotate the strike, you can't let a bowler settle against you.
We are in dire need of a lefty in the middle order, next year Haris Sohail has got to be there. Rotating strike with a left and right combination seriously puts the bowler off.
You are asking too much for a Thick Tank, who put Malik at 3 against Jimmy............
No, I can prove.

They need to play out a spell or two and preserve wickets..
If this wicket is difficult enough for us to be 105-4, then I don't want to imagine what'll happen in NZ, ENG, and AU next year. It may be tougher than Dubai, but YK and Malik are making it look like a minefield.
Which are thunderbolts for the legend.
Actually YK took the pitch out of the equation with his dismissal.
Not just talking about the dismissal, in general they've all made the pitch look more difficult than it really is.

Azhar played a ridiculous shot. 5th 6th stump no need for that. Nothing special with that ball.
Hafeez got a half tracker, terrible ball.
Malik played a useless shot. Nothing special about the ball.
YK we all know what happened.
All 4 were nothing deliveries.
They bat like tail enders and are embarrassing. Disgusted that this same batting team has produced batsman such as Miandad, Yousuf, Inzi, Saeed etc.
When they come over to my home next year for a 4 match series, these UAE slow track bashers will be exposed. Hafeez, Misbah & YK will be forced to retire.
Specially against seamers. It's horrible technique and mental block. They have no idea what to do against pacers. Azhar was only hope, but he got out quickly. He needed to stay longer.
Out of top 6, only Azhar and Shafiq can play seamers with some degree of confidence. Rest are waiting for spinners all the time, conditions does not matter.

How is the Fat Boy bowling?
Won't know until both teams have batted on the strip.
But yes, I agree they're playing defensively but it's more due to th mentality of seeing Anderson and Broad as bowlers who they must not score off for some reason and this very same mentality is causing wickets to tumble.
We need an opener who can blow opposition away, a Viru like opener.
Got the odd ball to turn but he hasn't been too threatening tbh.
I actually think opposite BD.
PAK batsmen love the ball on bat, not scared/troubled with pace or bounce (none is comfortable against late swing or seem movement, ask the Aussies), but they struggle when the wicket is dead slow. PAK batsmen can't play waiting game as there is no rotating ability. Dubai wicket was the best for PAK because it had a bit of pace & bounce & batsmen enjoyed the ball coming on to bat. The moment I saw smiling face of the Pakistani Grounds men, I felt something alarming. This is the same type of wicket, which helped the then SRL to win 2 Series in PAK against that team of 90s.
Next year, when PAK 'll go to UK, if Wahab & Yasir keeps their fitness & Aamir, Asif returns remotely close to 2010 - the Series 'll be a spectrum between 3-1 to 1-3, depending on how many sitters PAK cordon drops. And I 'll bet on this - for last 5 English summer, my prediction was spot on, you can check in PP. I grew up & learned my cricket in that country.
Looks like these spinners are a pointless waste of time against Pak.
England would wish they had 3 Andersons and 2 Broads.![]()
Hafeez too. Cannot play swing. But can play pace and bounce. Can hook and pull.

I agree in terms of PAK batsman preferring pace. But those PAK batsman are the likes of Shehzad, Akmal, Babar etc. Not YK & Misbah. These two are 40+ and reflexes are gone. They won't do well in England. If Misbah failed when he was 35 in AUS, 37 in SA.. why would he do well when reflexes are worse?
English conditions swing. The ball will definitely move around a lot more. They will both fail miserably.
I have heard somewhere that Amir will not be selected until he has 2 seasons of FC cricket no matter what. Rules him and Asif out.
And now we may have Malik at 3 in England. Do you really think PAK can even take one victory?
That's true, England may struggle here too, but I doubt it.
They've actually been like this throughout the series, no one has really looked to score off pace except Hafeez and Shafiq. Everyone else are just waiting for the spinners to come on.
Would probably get bowled out for 20 each innings then.
Azhar's Wicket.A Duck - Jimmy.

Where'd you hear that? That's a horrible choice. He should be selected if he's bowling well, he already has proven credentials.
Needed Azhar to get in on this wicket.
Mukhtar as test opener![]()
Lol..no.
But atleast England could compete.
Pak batsmen simply blew away their spinners barring that one Rashid spell first test.
This test is shaping to be interesting.
