I agree in terms of PAK batsman preferring pace. But those PAK batsman are the likes of Shehzad, Akmal, Babar etc. Not YK & Misbah. These two are 40+ and reflexes are gone. They won't do well in England. If Misbah failed when he was 35 in AUS, 37 in SA.. why would he do well when reflexes are worse?
English conditions swing. The ball will definitely move around a lot more. They will both fail miserably.
I have heard somewhere that Amir will not be selected until he has 2 seasons of FC cricket no matter what. Rules him and Asif out.
And now we may have Malik at 3 in England. Do you really think PAK can even take one victory?
He bats at no. 6 in FC, so don't think he would be able to open in Tests and he is not Test standard either.
Definitely.
He's looked out of touch since the Zimbabwe series for sure. It's unfortunate he missed the Abu Dhabi test, would have been great for him to get his eye in there.
And here u goNeed a sarfraz blinder now.. Hes very much capable of producing one. Go on sarfraz. Leave england stunned

Waqar's latest interview - he said he would prefer Amir to play 2 full domestic seasons before selection.
2 domestic season and get injured for another season. So he needs to play another 2 seasons to be selected.
What happened to the pitch?any chance of pitch getting better on 2nd day?
Sarfraz has played so well against a classy spinner like herath. Why would samit trouble him
Sarfraz played those innings in SRL, on a bit of faster tracks, where ball comes on to bat. Here he is trying to master a dead slow turner with a spongy bounce by forcing shots.
If pacers don't get him early, Cook might get a 9 hours 100 here - he has more patience than entire PAK line up combined.

Beautiful techniquesShafiq paid the price for being too cautious - Patel.

Yaar Misbah, at least rotate the strike. You are making this pitch look like a mine-field, which it is not...
Match might be decided in next few overs - I am sure Sarf 'll go after Adil. If PAK can reach 170/5 before Cook takes Adil off, it's PAK's match.
umm, it actually is a turner from day one. Turns sharp, generates some bounce.
Ball is turning too much for day 1, sensing something disastrous for england too
