Malik is just mediocre! despite his 4 wickets shouldnt play tests again

33/2 now and pakistan have let england back into game here!

Looks like match going usual way with YK and Misbah having to bail pakistan out of trouble as per usual.

Just ask for patented coins to represent wickets so we can toss them to the opposition when we want - undo such brilliant work with such lunacy...morons.

I guess not. :malik

This proves only that Malik should never bat in top 5. He is balancing the team indeed, but not as a specialist no. 3.

PAK is snatching the game from the jaws of domination though...........

Despite the wickets hafeez can not go into a shell. He plays well when playing positive

Azhar should be asked difficult questions by waqar today ..that was the silliest possible run.

Let hope we can get to close of play with no more damage, need a big partnership here and need a YK special inns.

Insha'Allah Team Man can play his natural game now that he has been given insaaf by being selected for ODIs.

Gotta love the wrist slitters, it is so quiet and all of a sudden they all appear:)))

Mind you we are in a precarious position right now.

Hafeez needs to score big. No excuses.

Its criminal the way he gets out after getting a 50.

One thing I am sure after this series - I can't explain their respective stats, but Jimmy is at per, if not better in terms of skills with Styen. May be he is just not fast enough for AUS/SAF wickets, but there are not many close to him in skills debuted in this millennium.

Azhar Ali should improve his learning he is fast becoming the reincarnation of Inzamam. Its a crime to get run out in test matches what were you thinking

Steyn gets most of his wickets through his out swinger.

True. Perhaps just lacks the consistent excellence that Steyn has always displayed. Killer instinct.

MoHa is batting for 3 hours & he has very little clue which way Jimmy is moving it in air......

Malik is so worthless. Hopefully this is the last we've seen of him in test cricket.

We need to ensure that another wicket is not lost today.

Its not.

He has what 2-3 ton in the last three years??

I don't know about the last few years, but career wise he has 13 50s and 8 100.

YK has the best conversion rate with 31 100s and 30 50s IIRC.

Anderson's average of 29 is probably the most misleading individual statistic in the game today. He's ridiculously skilled.

This series has blown the Clouderson myth into pieces.

Steyn is a BEAST for a completely simple reason.

He can ROAR anytime and turn games and series on its head.

Countless times Steyn would look normal and then in one inspired spell run through the opposition AT THE MOST CRUCIAL MOMENT and win the games for his side.

Anderson doesn't have Steyn's consistency or roaring capability.

Steyn is super special in that. Skill wise (in the sense more skills), he is NOWHERE close to Anderson or any of his ATG peers.

But when it comes to TIMED execution, none can't beat Steyn.

He is like an ATG batsman who is the most clutch too.

He stopped being Clouderson long time back.

Many who just see stats and comment would have got a reality ATLEAST now.

He had a few bad early years when he was too young and learning the art. We should see him after 2008.

What an innings by Professor though, no one else in the team can score 70+ at such a good SR in a situation like this. That's why he's better then Shehzad, who never gets out of his shell.

Younis is embarrassing to watch against pace.

I agree with you on most things. And i hate yk esp after todays news but malik is as bad or if not worse against pace in test cricket. I know hes not a number 3 bat but he came in near the 40th over and the way he got out was just embarrassing. Good ball but still

In use prof is our best opener. No doubt way better than shehzad as he has a good strike rate even in tests. Azhar and hafeez opening with haris at 3 is amazing.
