Winning toss in AD and fielding first - who would have known!

300+ on the cards again

It will be one inning shoot out for Pakistan....will they choke or stamp their authority and win?

:(

I knew you were around the corner, Isi liye in ko keh raha tha jaldi kero.

:pissed:

Beauty by aamer to end the over 19-0...not too bad we havent let them off the leash or anything.

Big appeal for LBW but waqar sums it up best: 'There was a big wood there'

in other words there was an inside edge onto the pads.

20-0 after 6 overs

This is a much better and tighter start or us than last time round.

Gul is bowling much better than previous games.

smacked for 4...it wasnt that short but mccullum somehow pulled it with ease for four.

Dangerous signs...and then a legbye for 4

Its a totally benign dead wicket.

30-0 in 7 overs

Aamer nearly bowled him around his legs there.

NZ were looking for the 2nd run there but McCullum says 'no! good arm'

It was amir down there at 3rd man, so the NZ team have marked him as a good arm and not to take chances against, nice.

7.3 Umar Gul to McCullum, SIX, ominous signs these, slower one but right in the slot outside off, he picked it and thumped it over mid-off for a flat six

thx for sharing this coz I didn't get it :14: :14:

Pakistani bowling on its way to the cleaners.

This is not good...its a bowlers graveyard is this pitch. I really cant see how we can get a wicket on here...

McCullum is the big wicket in this match. If we get him now, then it should be a lot easier.

Just had a look at McCullum's profile on Cricinfo and found out the bloke averages just 29.04 in 136 innings in ODI cricket. Geez, really wasn't expecting it to be that poor.

run rate is almost 6 runs an over but i am confident that iDone is going to save us today

Six...another short ball

Boycott shouts: Have they got any brains?? Do they not learn!?

No geoffrey they dont...

thats because he batted way down the order at the beginning of his career, because NZ had so many all-rounders at that time

Looks like 300 plus on the card, plus we have 3 batsmen who will ruin the run rate, god help us

Wow, we all know which Pakistan has come out to play today so far

Ah, didn't consider that factor. I was surprised because that average is a joke considering the talent of McCullum.

Flat track; we'll be chasing big; hopefully they send in the Conductor soon to rip out a few wickets :afridi
