IU should play Zafar Gohar instead of Rumman. Spinners have been more effective in Karachi than pacers.

These two have had very close games this season, with each side winning one a piece. Should be good.

United unchanged and zalmi have nabi gul, Jordan and Umar Amin for misbah, Dawson and?

Really?? Nabi gul is playing today?? Very exciting news. I rate this guy as the best young batting talent in Pakistan. Very good aggressive batsmen.

Lol at Misbah not playing. Sides have finally worked out he can't play pace at his age.

PSL should have cancelled this game today for the mourning of New Zealand terror attack

Are Zalmi playing a bowler short...unless pollard bowls all four no spinner which is also a risk need a big score here i think

Imam has been highly impressive in this tournament.. starting to change my opinion about him for sure

Imam ul Haq is love. What a player. After a long time, finally someone who bats with a lot of common sense.

He is slowly developing into a run machine. His progress over the last two years has been great to see - his biggest strength is his concentration and composure, which have enabled him to overcome his limitations.

It was ridiculous to see people call him the second coming of the stroke-less wonder that is Azhar Ali.

In Babar and Imam, Pakistan finally have two prolific run scorers in the top 3 in all formats. However, Fakhar the hack is a major problem.

If Shehzad can fulfill his potential, a top three of him, Imam and Babar could be the best top three Pakistan have had in many years.

If Imam continues to work hard with same passion and enthusiasm, I am sure he will end up being one of the successful opener for Pakistan after Saeed Anwar. This man has all the ability to adapt according to the format of the game.

Take Kamran Akmal to World Cup. He'll come good on true English wickets.

Bowl him six deliveries on the fourth stump and he will inevitably get caught in the covers or at point. He has abundance of talent but very little brains.

Fakhar is on a mission of self destruction. He thinks himself a batsmen who can smash 6 boundaries an over. Need to go under serious counseling.

Every batsman has his weaknesses. With an in form Kamran Akmal i'd be willing to take that risk.

About time Shadab’s golden boy treatment ends and he is made to put in the hard yards in F/C.

Such an overrated cricketer.

Imam has really improved, looking very good against serious pace

Imam giving a reply to some experts here on PP and has given that time and time again. :babar

His batting is total fluke these days. Needs everything to go in his favor for him to score runs.

His problem is he keeps bowling same stuff after getting hit for a six, needs to have a plan B

at this time, I have more confidence in Shan than in Shehzad

We have been through this before. He has been picked twice based on his PSL form and has failed both times. Also, a liability in the field. I think he has played his last match for Pakistan.

Imam is mentally very strong only if Babar is good as him mentally. Babar would easily be the second best batsman in the world after Kohli.

But he won us a world t20 final in England.

Alarm bells should be ringing for Pakistani management with the form Shadab is in. And they think Yasir Shah will be the back up leg spinner for the World Cup

Nevertheless, Kamran has been a proper pressure player in the PSL, always comes good in play-offs.

Kamran has always looked like a great batsman with his strokes.

He is always compact and still, very unPakistani like.

With no shadab in Aus series, I hope Yasir fails terribly so that we can select any proper spinner in the WC.

Islamabad batting is too strong to be worried. Alex Hales alone can win it for them easily.

He selection was based on nepotism and connections but guy has improved so obviously the criticism has gone down and people are now accepting him.

Not really, he also lacks power hitting ability along with mental strength.

Even in the CPL, I remember he failed an entire season with single digit scores and then was MOM in both Semi Final and Final.

He has played well in the World T20 tournaments. He should have never been dropped from this format.

People were not willing to give him a chance to prove himself, and he has down decently since his debut and never warranted so much criticism.

He also did well in England in the 2010 ODI series, but it is 2019 now. I don’t think he has the ability against quality pace anymore.

Maybe you are right. But we need to have a backup for a struggling Fakhar in an all important world cup. Specially considering the fact that the pace bowlers will be neutralized by the flatness of English wickets.

This is pristine batting by Imam. I am happy with nepotism if it can bring forward players like him.

He has been extremely well coached by the likes of Inzamam. You won’t find many young batsmen in Pakistan with his foundation.

What do you make of Imam's power hitting? He's not world class but better than Babar in that regard.

I think they are pretty similar, but Imam seems to have more desire to improve himself. He is slowly catching up with Babar, who was two levels above a couple of years ago.

If Imam ups his strike rate to 90+ and becomes our highest scorer in the World Cup then I will eat my earlier negative worlds on him and consider him a legend in the making.

imam has pleasantly surprised me..hope him and shaan do well next week. Peshawar pace attach wahab hasan jordon millls...i think too good

With the way PZ are going, I think IU will need to send Asif up the order. One of Hales or Delport should make way.

Imam is giving a lot of hope but Shadab has been pretty poor lately most of the times. Considering he is likely gonna go in the WC he better improve

This proves another point here that Saud Shakil who was better at junior level than Imam also deseved chances and backing. I am happy for Imam but i feel Saud has been harshly treated.Yoingsters with proper batting basics like him needs backing.

Hope Imam gets a hundred. Will do wonders for him and his confidence. Also, performing in the PSL at a quick rate with lots of sixes is also going to shut his haters up; enabling him to perform even better for Pakistan.

Imam looking like an ATG at the moment.

Just need Haris and Imad to score big in the next series and the batting is set.

Only liability is Sarfraz :danish
