Ajinkya Rahane (104*) leads from the front as India reach 277/5 on Day 2 of 2nd Test vs Australia

Hanuma Vihari out to annoy Indian fans. But if he plays well guess we can't argue against him. Also a quiet character - nothing to dislike about him except that he's boring.
 
India slowly grinding there way in the game , a solid lead is on cards here as India move to advantage

Vihari is another typical SC type player who will average 60 at home but has not done much in SENA till now.
 
Vihari’s intent wasnt wrong, he knew Lyon will adjust the length after that cut shot and will be bit fuller but, I think he could have went for a straighter shot using his feet rather than sweeping on a track with bounce.
 
Pant needs to counter attack the old ball - he might not last long if he tries to play out time and Aussies will get new ball after Tea.

The new bowl is due after 20 overs. We may not survive till then but in case we do, we won't last too long after the new bowl is available.

So, it's important to get to 250 till 80 overs.

India lost last match because of one single session collapse. Australia hasn't crossed 200 in a single innings in this series

I hope Rehane does well and gets selected as the Test captain. Kohli is too much of a nutjob as a captain.
 
Australian batting has been so **** and yet we won the first Test on a flat pitch, then we have given the Indians a flat batting pitch and our batting is still crap. We have dropped catches left, right and centre, and yet the Indians are still 5/190 lol.

Seems like we will have to stop Cummins, Starc, Green, Hazelwood from bowling to make India give us a good contest.

Australia is cheating I feel. Should be investigated. Suddley they got all sorts of swing during the day in the first test.

Yeah won the toss at home, against a team missing its Captain, 2 premier fast bowlers and getting the best of overcast conditions to bowl and yet... about to go behind.

Cant imagine how much more one sided the match would have been if things werent a bit lopsided.

A surprising fightback from Indians after the last test.

India- Aus series is matching the hype so far. Wish both teams were full strength.
 
We should look to take atleast 75 runs lead. Then we can knock Australia under 200 and seal the game.
