Taylor's a better batsman than Hafeez and Haris is also a better bat than Hafeez. Haris needs to come in for Malik, and there's no point him batting below 4 so he should bat at 4 and Sarfraz 5 because in the last 10 overs Hafeez can score at 10+ an over whereas Sarfraz will struggle to do so.

Taunton is also known to spin. Traditionally Australia struggle against finger spin and bowlers that push them forward. I think Shaheen may come in for Wahab. I think we can only play 3 seamers. They are Shaheen,Hasan ,and Amir . Hasnain and Wahab will give Australia what they want and allow them to play on the back foot.

India vs Pakistan in a KO would be too much for my heart unfortunately .

But my opinion is for Pakistan to win the WC, they are going to have to beat India. So bring it on.

Yeah you may have something there regarding spin. Yeah Taunton does support spin later but got to see how much. Advantage for Pak is that the two frontline batsman can spin

India and Pak team in KO will be great. Although either of them can technically win the WC without beating each other what’s the fun in that so bring it on

I don't think Hasnain will be effective here. Shaheen would be a better replacement as both Wahab and the little batting I have seen of Shaheen can bat.
Those 20/30 runs by Wahab could be quite interesting.. But if Wahab gets smashed as he is normally subject to it could be challenging.

Yeah, World Cup is more or less over for us.

New Zealand is going to go through instead of us.

New Zealand will get 1 point versus India which would mean they are at 7 points.

All they need to do next is beat South Africa and one other team.

I hope they play Shadab...he's under rated but if the pitch seams, it will take spin and he can be a real factor....not to speak of his fab fielding and better than average batting

Pitch looks like it has plenty of grass on it. With overcast skies it will be ‘99 WC final all over again if we win the toss and bat.

Even shahid afridi could swing it if he could just hold the ball properly and bowl like his faster ones. Deathbed for batsmen. I feel like the rain should have continued, for Pakistan's sake win the toss and bowl first.

No. Australia never bowls first. They always bat first. They back themselves even to defend 150.

Haris to bat at 6 as a 2nd line of defence. Lets continue with Hafeez/Sarfaraz at 4/5, If two wickets fall within the first 10 overs, Sarfaraz can bat at 4, otherwise Hafeez at 4.
