That fasted to x runs record in ODI's is broken so often nowadays, I think my neighbor held it at one point.
 
Babar needs to slap Junior upside the head and tell him he needs to bat for 30 overs. That's it, just forget the run rate and bat for 30 overs because if he can bat for that long then the runs will just come naturally for him.

Kept hitting in the air Akmal. someone needs to have a word with him, his decision making is poor. too much talent to waste it like that.
 
Thank God , akmal is out. He didn't deserve to be selected , what had he done to get selected at the first place?

No point, his brother is a bigger failure and after smashing trundlers in domestic cricket the same people are crying for his return.
 
Sometimes just don't understand the way we play. Stupid attemted shot earlier in the over, got away with it. Got a boundary. Then what was the need for another dumb shot. Absolutely no thought.
 
Terrible just one word to describe the last 3 batsman who went out , it seems like they are going miss the flight back home. We have got decent amount of overs left in this game , run rate was good but why ?
 
Where are all the UA lovers? The guy has absolutely no brain whatsoever.

I don't understand PCB , he was thrown out of the team on the back of poor performance and discipline. He evaded the quaide azam trophy to play BPL and failed in the BPL as well and still found himself in the odi team. They need to ask selectors , what did akmal do to win his place back in the team?

Akmal makes Afridi look like Einstein. Time and time again Akmal plays these brainless shots.
 
There was a huge opportunity for UA to take responsibility and win the game for Pak. Lots of overs, under control run rate and not a big target. Despite all the skills, he still lacks game awareness and sound temperament. Should never complain again.

Kamran akmal has played two of the best test innings of pakistans tests history , his hundreds at mohali and Karachi. Overall he was a poor batsman but junior can't even come close to play innings like those in his lifetime.
 
Strike rotation is the poorest aspect of Pakistan's Loi cricket and it has been for a very long time now, even the PSL seems to be bowling friendly not sure how these batsmen will learn to rotate strike.
 
Umar Akmal will never learn...its because he knows his boys in PCB are going to fit him back in team.
Hafeez at #3??? he wasn't a #3 in his prime. He's 35+ now.

Look at Australia. Any player on the team over 30?

He is seen to have "talent" so that means his name will constantly be brought up by the public regardless of whether he deserves to be recalled or not. As long as you have enough delusional fans and you keep your name in the public consciousness with stupid tweets, a couple of knocks in the PSL is all you need to suddenly be the saviour of the ODI and Test teams.

I said our domestic circuit is useless, based on Kamran's domestic prowess yet his crap ODI record. Where do Test matches come in it?

Our best strike rotator in Sarfraz is missing. Even when he scores runs, he shouldn't be in the team according to some because he isn't "talented" or "dynamic" enough.

You said that he had an average just a little better than afridi and I was addressing that point only. Regarding our domestic structure , all our domestic performers are still waiting for their turns or waiting for a system where performances could be rewarded. Its poor to blame players , they get used to the system in place and perform according to that. The question though is why the other highly rated players fail to perform better than what we call domestic bullies , they are playing under same conditions against same teams. Doesn't make much of sense really.
 
Rizwan is a good talent, definitely worth investing in. Guys played some clutch knocks in domestic cricket.

He also scored a brilliant hundred to save a test in India.

That's two genuinely great innings, one is one of the all time greatest innings ever played in test history.

What has this super talented youngsta beauty done in his career to be regarded so highly? What's his defining moment? A fifty in Australia 7 years ago?

He'll be remembered more for his twitter feed than anything he managed to do on a cricket field.

What a talent indeed.

I guess now people would realize the importance of Malik and Sarfaraz in this team........

We literally replaced two of our most decent contributors of the ODI lineup with two of the worst batters from the domestic.
