No, this a side full of attacking players who are enjoying 350 per condition. This same lineup lost 3 in a trot from 2-0 up against a declining SAF side. And this side'll be man handelled in IND/AUS in ODI. And, they are going to tour BD as well - we'll see them there as well.

These days ODI's are absolute lottery - you start slogging from ball one - the day you connect, side chasing 'll find it 380 to chase & they'll collapse to make it a statistical farce. The day, you loses couple early, it's another mockery - basically 40 overs chase.

The days of nail biting ODI is over - that happens when you destroy the balance of the contest by putting steroid in it.
 
Man, I wonder how Mustafiz would've went against these English batsman. Sucks so much that he will miss the series.

and Azam scores at least

and this shows why we need a dynamic player like Akmal in the side, not that he is always good, but one of the best players we have but one day we play him at 6, the other at 4, the other at 5.

Shahzad is awful, toss him out for good.
 
Imagine if we have Irfan, Anwar Ali, Gul and Bhatt in our bowling like up along with Yasir England will score 700 runs
 
I reserve my judgment on a series when it has been decided and England have won it 3-0 now, remove Azhar as captain and axe Wahab and Yasir

Just to add - recently, AUS chased twice 225 sort of target in SRL - I'll bet on that, this English side would have lost both against that Lankan attack, on similar condition/wicket.

To their credit, they are maximizing the given condition, so kudos to them.
 
Pakistan lacked bowling plan. And it comes with a team working within bowling team. Pakistan lack passionate bowlers who would try and compete within themselves to prove who is a better bowler. Missing passion of 90s cricketer in current generation. Bowling opposition out is all about planning on how to bowl within eachother. Pakistan need a good bowling coach here, please wasim bhai come and help US.
 
ICC has to do something to keep bowlers in the game, too many rules are against them. That wide was madness [emoji84][emoji84][emoji84]

England deserves to break Sri Lanka's highest ODI total. I will be really happy if they do that.

I hope we at least see some fireworks from Sharjeel and Sarfaraz and some classy batting from Babar. Hope Pakistan don't surrender meekly.

Why have such flat wickets, who would want to watch just batsmen doing hammering. No competition with bat and ball. Such pitches have destroyed odi cricket. Not saying because England have scored 400 but just there is no fun at all, i find it boring when opposition bats like that.
 
I read today Zimbabwe's President put all the Olympians who competed in the Rio directly to the jail because they didn't bring any medal home.

I wonder how Bangladesh have been so terrible over the years but still have never conceded 400+ runs in ODIs.

its actually fun looking at our own lullos struggling to score runs on this very same pitch. Gives me hope that there is a change coming but unfortunately nothing changes.
