Incredible really. India have already had like 3-4 lbw gone for them in 3 innings. All would have been revesed with DRS.

Is his form down the gutter now?

looked pretty ordinary during the time he stayed on crease!

Did anyone notice the boring commentary [Bumble & Holding] on Skysports and Star cricket seems to be much better.

that was a bad decision IMO

Cook was hit above the knee-roll and he was taking a big stride

oh well

Good start for India. Its imperative that we get Trott early otherwise he'd prove to be unmovable object.

lol. That Rauf decision was good since it went against India but this Cook decision is good since it went for us.

Naseer saying Cook survived the one he should have been given out, then given on the one that's going over the stumps
Some of these keyboard warriors know more than Nasser does. Of course why won't they? After all, Rauf is from Pak.

Trott has the same problem as Mohammad yousuf cant play the full in swinging ball

Cook's foot was a good 4-5 inches up on the ground, and the ball hit above knee-roll

he was re-marking his guard when given out

Cook was lucky to survive in Praveen's over. That would have been given out on review, even though the onfield umpire gave it not-out, the reason being more than 50% of the ball pitched inline the stumps and was hitting the off below the bails.

The second one was a bad decision from Erasmus.

All the more reason for using DRS for all decisions.

I clearly mentioned the reason in the above post and the first decision would be OUT even on review. Second one is obviously a wrong one.

England need to see of the new ball while India would love a couple of more wickets before lunch.

No it wouldn't have.

It was umpires decision. So that was marginal, hence not wrong.

Woah........

Unless some1 can prove that PCB the board is nothing of what has been stated the statement stands....

Note the diff. is not Pakistan cricket but the board and was in reply to BCCI buying a wicket...

yes technically, if reviewed, the ball had to be hitting 100% in order for 3rd umpire to over-turn field umpire and give it out

but enough about that, lets enjoy the match

Please read the reason sir. If the ball is pitched inline the stumps and hitting the stumps then it is gone. It was not hitting the edges of the stump or at the bails...This will be given not out only for these reasons...else OUT.

Don't give unnecessary face palms.

See Fawad.

What way I saying? Clearly Nasser doesn't know the basic rules of cricket.

...and Holding said on Sky Sports it was a great decision, since he was too far out.

Point is, every cricket expert has a different view.

DRS is the only thing that has no opinion.

And according to DRS, England should be none down.

There is a reason why the DRS labels it "umpire's call"

I think we gotta introduce Sree now. Praveen isn't proving much effective and is only wasting the new ball.

Not that Sree isn't capable enough to do that but still at least he'd have a bit of pace.

Harbhajan's average is very bad from the last five years. 40 odd with ball last year. He is a weak link now, he needs to play well in this test.

I really hope he does.

It seems that 'one good test' in 10 has kept him in this team for so long.

I like Ganguly's commentary, sensible and smart guy. Ganuly and Wasim pair is nice to hear, time to sleep. Bye folks
