Fans of any sports team generally hold some hope for the future. Otherwise whats the point of following. Ask any fan of relegation fodder teams in football for example as to why they turn up weekly to watch their team get beat. Sure some fans can be pessimistic (a sort of defence mechanism for when let down by the team's performance) but deep down they do hope that their team turns it around and becomes more successful in the future.
What they don't do is say to fellow fans that they 'deserve humiliation' after one defeat. Why do you not want your fellow Pakistan fans to perhaps get a little carried away after significant wins (e.g. Lords Test, Champions Trophy) and dream a little about a brighter future after all its not like the fans influence PCB policy in any way so their optimism can't really affect the team in any negative way.
I notice you yourself get a little carried away after successful Indian & English performances. Even a couple of Jos Buttlers half centuries have got you comparing him to ABdV. How is this any different to Pakistanis being hopeful that Umar Akmal would become a world class batsmen after his early international career. Regardless of what happened to his career after that - This is not the fault of the fans who were perhaps overrating him (even respected pundits predicted he would achieve much more).
