Bairstow averages nearly 40 in test cricket playing most of his games in england .Thats more than enough proof that he can play swing.
On the other hand people have selected bevan,yuvi,hetmyer with avg of 20s in test,bairsow is obviously better than all of them against swing

Shane Warne produced ATG and never seen again bowling spells in QF 1996, SF 1999 however.

Those are spells that have not been produced again.

In SF 1999, Shane Warne was 9 overs, 13 runs, 4 wickets something going into his last over :bow:

Bairstow is better than Hetmyer there is no arguement there there's a reason why he is opening

Hetmyer is batting at 6, he's comparable to Raina and Miller from your team. It gets subjective down there they are all pretty much at par

By the way, now that I picked him and we discussed him a lot, there's a lot more to be loved about this 22 year old guy Shimron Hetmyer.

Like for example, he bats with a hat against spinners.

Players stopped wearing those a long time ago.

Azharuddin was one of the best ODI batsmen of the 1989#-90s

For instance he was way better than Salim Malik, Ijaz :yk

The SR was just too low and unlike Greenidge, he didn't really have a reputation for being an aggressive batsman. No standout performances in World Cups either.

The strike rate is the problem for me as well, but [MENTION=128087]last_knight[/MENTION] says he could play aggressive shots and was a brilliant close-in fielder.

I never saw him as such so I am confused :afaq

I did ishtakara for long time for that then left it to others :yk , if you want you can still pick Swann and I will take back Shami if it is allowed :afridi
