Pakistan walk away as a happy bunch after a remarkable comeback. At lunch, it looked like they might concede a significant lead, but they took control from that point onward. Saud Shakeel displayed immense patience and solid technique to handle the English spinners, with strong support from Noman Ali and Sajid Khan, both of whom scored impressive 40s. This effort turned what seemed like an inevitable deficit into a valuable 77-run first innings lead.
Energized, Pakistan returned to the field and tore through England's top order. Duckett was caught on the back foot, Crawley was beaten by a slider, and Pope struggled with his low-handed technique.
Now, it's all on Joe Root to guide England through what's increasingly looking like a challenging pitch. They trail by 53 runs with 7 wickets in hand.
